^31 every single day and twice on Sundays. -b. -
Nice! N-Y just got around to shipping mine a day ago () and I can't wait to do a side-by-side comparison as well. The shield on my original was so flimsy that I ended up using superglue to keep it from falling apart. Hopefully the 40th Anniversary Edition one doesn't suffer that same issue. -b.

No thank you, the YouTube videos and other articles usually just turn out to be nothing more than click-bait. Besides in this case I'd prefer to be as surprised as possible. Was just a little concerned clicking through all the talk about jackets and the Last Jedi and, and, and, and, and, and, that wasn't really related to Episode IX. I am looking forward to additional trailers as we get closer to release. -b.

Can't wait for Max's 1A, still no official release date yet but I'm hoping for the beginning of the month. https://tamashii.jp/item/12912/ -b.

Well hopefully they still fulfill your order. The item page says preorder to release in September so at least they are still expecting additional stock. To the best of my knowledge there was only one time EE had issues getting stock, and that was for one of the Metal Build Gundam figures. Otherwise they've always been extremely reliable. -b.

Nice shots everyone! -b. -
For anyone who recently (I placed the order at the end of June) ordered the MB EVA-01 from Entertainment Earth it looks like they got their stock. My order shows processing on their site and with my credit card company. I might check out that upgrade kit too, just for kicks and giggles. -b.

It is just him. Even the FB page cited on the YouTube video has only Saburo's photos. -b.

Yeah, I get kind of bummed thinking that certain characters will only be available from Hasbro. For my money you can't beat SH Figuarts, even when they are woefully short on accessories, their quality is usually pretty spot on with only a few really bad misses (looking at your Infinity War Captain America ). -b.

Yeah, I'm in for old Han and Luke. I still really wish that Bandai could or would make some figures from The Clone Wars and Rebels, especially the named Clone Troopers, Sabine and Ahsoka. -b.

Star Trek: Picard (CBS All-Access)
Kanedas Bike replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
See, this is why I thought Star Trek Beyond was so good. From all accounts Simon Pegg is a genuine Star Trek fan and I credit his co-writing as a reason why Beyond was so refreshing, especially coming off of Into Darkness. Need to do the same, I don't think I've heard one bad word about The Orville. agreed -b.- 2171 replies

Star Trek: Picard (CBS All-Access)
Kanedas Bike replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
YES, it truly was. And thank you / . @Seto Kaiba, can't argue with any of your logic. And I wasn't aware that the CBS All Access app was such a joke. I'd watch via PlayStation 4, but if it's a pain to use, on top of not having a strong portfolio of content there's no way I'd waste my money or my time. -b.- 2171 replies

Star Trek: Picard (CBS All-Access)
Kanedas Bike replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Very much agreed, apathy, or even just the feeling of "it's okay/not the end of the world" is SO liberating. I still love all (most) of you guys and gals. To be honest, I had really low expectations for Picard, mostly because I wasn't at all hyped to watch any of the new Trek series, I caught the first episode of Discovery when it aired on TV but haven't watched, nor have I subscribed to CBS All Access. Not so much because of the negative reviews, but more because there hasn't been enough positive word of mouth to get me to spend the money. The recent preview for Picard puts me in the category of "color me interested", I'll likely wait to see what the early impressions are, BUT, I'm on the cautiously optimistic side for now. -b. And sorry for the late reply, had no internet access for a few days.- 2171 replies

It's early still dude, I'm sure there are more folks that aren't interested. Regardless of opinions, it's kind of refreshing to see sentiment around these parts (the forums as a whole) as more positive then negative. -b.- 2171 replies

Marvel Studios TV Shows and Animation on Disney+
Kanedas Bike replied to sh9000's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Extremely excited for What If, all of the shows really, but I usually got a kick out of the What If comics and I'm excited/curious to see how it handles 10 + years worth of MCU. -b.- 1461 replies

Star Trek: Picard (CBS All-Access)
Kanedas Bike replied to UN Spacy's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yep. As much as I really wasn't interested, that trailer piqued my curiosity enough to shell out for 1 month of CBS All Access to check out an episode or two. And I didn't think Star Trek: Firefly/Serenity, but if so, to be honest that's not necessarily a bad thing. -b.- 2171 replies

Pretty good casting, especially if the new Blade is similar tonally to the New Line Cinema Blade films (at least the first 2 and not the awful Blade:Trinity). -b.

Uh...embarrassed to admit that I didn't know that there were any differences beyond cosmetic. That said, I'm going to have to go with @Loliconon tihis, I'd be happy to either version. If there were some compelling side-by-side comparisons then I reserve the right to change my mind. -b.

Enterprise E for the win! That said, I've also been looking off and on for the Aoshima Enterprise D, those are even harder to find that the Aliens Cheyenne Dropship that they did around the same time period. I'd also go for a refit A just because of how iconic the design is, but my heart is with the E. While I'm very happy to see Eaglemoss producing so many Trek ships, it's too bad that they aren't the "gold" standard. -b.

Funny enough, I never really liked vehicle Voltron either, even though I had one as a kid and remember very specifically playing with it all the time. Funny enough never at the same time as lion Voltron, which I also had. I wasn't even going to order GX-88, but the "gotta have it, collector bug" bit me and so I placed my order. Exactly, nostalgia is a powerful drug. Always had a love/hate relationship with firing missile gimmicks, as a kid I liked to have the option but either always lost or broke either the projectile or the launcher. -b.

Interesting sentiments being bantered about, agreed 1000000000% that Phasma was a complete and total waste of a character and/or story line. Fett always had a badass appeal to him, mostly because there was an air of mystery so as little kids/teenagers/young adults we made assumptions about how bad ass he was. Could be my own bias but I don't read into the Character X, Y or Z is a Social Justice "this" or a forced representation of one group or another, BUT, I'm firmly in agreement of representation of peoples across the entire spectrum is good. I also 1000000000% agree that a lot of the decisions made by Poe, Finn and others were flat out stupid in TLJ, almost along the lines of Prometheus-level stupidity, but what's done is done at this point. I attribute it to bad writing vs. the characters being untouchable because they are societal representations of one group or another. I mean dumb writing is dumb writing, there's no need to make it about anything more than that. I just hope that Episode IX can redeem those characters in some way or another. -b.
