    Wow, Technoblue's pictures make me think of Bandai's Metal Build Trans Am releases with that "hue". That said when I looked at the different Yamato and Arcadia releases earlier the pink or whatever wasn't nearly as pronounced as the pictures above, but I suppose that all depends on lighting, camera, my monitor, etc. -b.

    Sorry, not a fan of any of the Macross 7 designs and I haven't even been able to convince myself to watch of the series or companion material. Valks with faces and boobs - No. Thank. You. If this new design comes between a Macross Zero mecha and a Macross 7 mecha then Zero all the way. Queue the Top Gun music of your choice. -b.

    ^ ditto to the above re: Nippon-Yasan, even down to the same tracking info, using SAL Registered (Dec. 26th). The only difference is that I ordered (2) copies of the Isamu YF-29 and (1) has been delivered with the other sitting in tracking limbo. I kind of panicked because my local Post Office has been uncharacteristically unreliable the last few weeks, even with EMS shipments that I had to track down on my own and go to the Post Office to pick up. I guess patience is a virtue with SAL, but I absolutely will not ship that way again. -b.

    Dang, I agree if I felt a company I was trying to do business with didn't really care about my dollar, or how hard they make it for me to spend my dollar with them then I'd feel the exact same way. Appreciate the reply. -b.

    Good ole Andy, one of my all-time favorite movies. Took this as an opportunity to finally open my Arcadia Roy and Hikaru VF-1S's. I can see the same color discrepancy (only for lack of a better term). That said, as others have stated or alluded to, it does not take away from the appearance of either item, at least in Fighter mode. If anything I'm glad to see consistency with how they appear next to one another. I also looked at my DYRL Max VF-1S, TV Roy 1S, Max 1A and Hikaru IJ (Grey visor) and the parts (upper arm) that have a different hue on the Arcadia releases are NOT the same color or hue on the Yamato releases. And even on the Yamato releases those parts have a slightly different hue from the rest of the arm or other parts. Again, nothing that detracts from the toy, just a slight difference in "white" parts. -b.

    Honestly I wouldn't hazard to guess what it is. Just to confirm, I don't really care if it's an 0D or not, just with the overriding consensus that it is one it'd be something if Arcadia pulled a fast one and it's a different Valk/item. And yeah, I understand the reasons behind releasing items to maximize profit - LOL. Bring on the 0D, 0S or whatever the "new" mold is and we'll see confirmation at WF. -b.

    Whoops...I must have been out of it last night. I read "3P" as "3A" - since they got the license to produce toys from the movie, hence the comment about price. Not really stoked about third party releases either, even if some of them look OK. -b.

    More excited for a possible 0S re-design then an 0D (which is cool, and I'd buy one, but it wasn't anything I regretted not having from the first Mac Zero line). Would also be kinda funny if this new mold is something from left field and not at all a VF-0D. -b.

    Besides the very early v2 should breakage issues, and changes that were made to the hip/swing-bar placement what needs to be improved re: the joints, transformation or durability? Just curious because I think these new Arcadia and final Yamato releases are/were pretty solid. -b.

    Speaking from a position of having owned a Yamato VF-0S I would not buy one (or the 0A). If Arcadia doesn't re-visit this Valk with a new design then I'd just chalk it up as one more Valkyrie or item from the Macross universe that I won't own in toy form. -b.

    No problem! I missed listing the Bandai re-issue 1/55 VF-1A Max but it looks like you already have one. I only have (3) Max Valks left in my collection so I'm really hoping that Arcadia re-releases a few of them. Keep growing your collection, it'd be awesome if you end up with a copy or two of each Max Valk ever released. -b.
