    Was just having a debate about Gal being cast as WW with two of my oldest friends. It's so funny when "nerds" get together and argue about stuff like this. I really hope that Warner Bros takes the extra time to get their movie-verse in order. They certainly don't have, or need to follow Marvel's formula but Warner Bros/DC had better bring their A+++ game if they want these franchise(s) to be successful. -b.

    Since it looks like Bandai is on the release all YF-29's from Macross Frontier video game(s), how many iterations of the 29 are there? YF-29 Alto YF-29 Isamu YF-29 Ozma YF-29 30th Anniversary Edition YF-29B Perceval YF-29 ???     Me too, I can see most of Arcadia's 1/60 scale Macross releases retailing from $ 170 to around the $ 300 mark (north or south). I imagine they'd have to keep prices on the high-end to not end up repeating history. -b.

    Agree for the most part. Even understanding (well, my understanding) that Macross Frontier was a gigantic homage to the Macross series that came before Ozma was very much Roy reincarnated. On topic I keep stalking Nippon-Yasan and some other sites to see when pre-orders go up. -b.

    At first blush I'm not that big a fan of the head sculpt but I'd need to see a clear picture of the toy. Either way it's still on my buy-list. The blue canopy and crystals don't bother me too much, if they keep them then fine, if they change them then that's fine too. -b.

    Right! It sure seems that way. I'm actually hoping for a cannon-fodder release at this point. Hopefully, the exclusives have certainly been a lot easier to secure then some of the early releases (although the 25A was pretty available and the RVF looks to be a bit of a shelf-warmer). -b.

    It's all good - no worries. Most of what we watch or collect is subjective to personal tastes and I can appreciate fans of one series or another wanting their favorite items produced (toys, media like video, print, music, etc.). I'll be sure to try and phrase or tone my comments in such a way as to not be dismissive, especially since I wouldn't want someone to be that way towards something I'm passionate about. It's also funny how much interest that teaser picture has generated - hopefully that's a really good sign for Arcadia and their business so that they keep releasing the Valkyries and other items we want. -b.

    Well actually I'm simply stating that a fact that Macross 7 (or at the very least those with certain characteristics) designs don't appeal to me. That's not so much a criticism as it is a statement of my opinion or sense of aesthetic. We'll see what Arcadia plans to release, hopefully everyone can get a little of what they want and some of us can save some money if those releases aren't our cup of tea. -b.

    On one hand I'm very glad that Bandai has been consistently releasing new DX Valks from Macross Frontier, on the other I wish they'd revisit some older items like the 25S and G. And damn, I can already feel my yearly budget/plans blown...again. -b.

    Agree, agree, agree and agree. I was kind of hoping that they'd somehow throw in an Easter Egg that alluded to a character or circumstance related to The Hunt for Red October (whether this would be a future or past event) but I didn't see one. This could have also easily been a Netflix rental or wait for cable viewing, but on a slow Tuesday evening it was a nice diversion. -b.

    Interesting - it kind of ties into what was said earlier about how 3A conducts business and how that can be off-putting to a lot of people (myself included) but it's "good" to know that if they release something from Transformers that I want to purchase I'll be able to get it thru reputable online shops like Sideshow and BBTS. -b.

    Got it. FYI - the box that the delivered YF-29 came in was very small (was basically a perfect fit to packaging Bandai used) but I get the concept of it ships when it fits. -b.
