    This week's The Talking Dead has me glued to the screen for 2 obvious reasons. And all man-foolishness aside it's actually good to have guests that are able to really articulate during the discussion. As usual Hardwick is good. -b.

    Hopefully it's a good sign for Arcadia that their VF-1S's aren't on sale. *in that they are selling well enough that they don't need to be discounted further -b.

    Another really good episode. A couple of "saw that coming" moments but a good set-up for the final 3 episodes and beyond. And Daryl and Beth... -b.

    ^ Ditto on that Angel Bird. It's another of Yamato's releases that's not in my collection but I wasn't able to justify the $ 250 price tag plus shipping with (1) so many pre-orders to pay for and (2) being one release that I don't feel that I have to have. It is fun watching Mandarake and other stores and going thru that should I or shouldn't I dance in my head. -b.

    Re: Annie, honestly why do we care? Most of his here are grown men. I don't have any young children so I have no reason to watch this, if you do then either take your kids and enjoy it thru them or show them the original at home. Speaking on the movie directly I think this would work better as a made for television movie vs. theatrical release but more power to everyone involved with making this remake. "...the only thing you can taste, is not that taste." -b.

    Sort of in the same boat, I do think this season has been pretty funny/entertaining but I liked the whole pseudo-spy agency that ISIS represented. Them shacked up in Cherlene's mansion will take a LOT of getting used to. or Maybe it's just that ole' natural resistance to change. -b.

    WUT??? There is hardly (read no) a comparison between Tyrese Gibson and Harrison Ford. I don't have an issue with Mr. Gibson but Harrison's acting talent level is so far above Tyrese's it's not even funny. Re: TF being a career killer, one could say Star Trek, Star Wars and just about any Sci-Fi franchise has the same effect. Hollywood loves to type-cast, look at Liam Neeson as a perfect example. I'm still riding high from the anticipation of Optimus riding Grimlock. That alone will be worth the cost of my ticket. -b.

    LOL - shock waves from that smack. Another "awesome" thing I noticed, Marky Mark was able to jump start Optimus Prime. With. A. Car/Truck. Battery. Who needs the Matrix when you have a DieHard laying around. -b.

    Won't comment on the Super Parts as I haven't handled mine (don't care for them) and I remember the conversations about how the v1 VF-27 only needed to be tweaked here and there to improve upon the DX release. The copy I opened and transformed didn't have any QC issues and even with Bandai's love of sharp plastic pieces that are prone to jab you in the fingers I was able to transform it from Fighter to Battroid very easily. I'd be very critical of this, or any release, that had a bunch of issues right out of the box but that wasn't my experience. I'm not that big a fan of the design to buy a third revision unless there is some monumental jump in how it's made. I would say if you could find one new/like-new for around 17,000 JPY (or less) it's worth the money. -b.

    Considering how the Super VF-27 sold (or didn't as the case may be) that's a long wait for a train don't come. I actually like how it looks in Battroid, I don't get all the hate or lack of love shown towards the release but I would not bet on Bandai revisiting the design for Grace any time soon. -b.
