    Same, 1 of the Bandai Frontier Renewals - I grabbed a 25F, 25A, 25G and 25S. It's insane because even Yamato Weathering Versions show this Dec. Restock. It has to be an error. Imagine all the long faces when those order cancellations come thru from HLJ. -b. *EDIT to Add - somebody at HLJ is getting fiiiirrreeeed, or maybe they just got hacked I have an update scanner on a few product lines and I just got the same Dec Restock on a few Gundam items (namely Metal Build) as well as Masterpiece Transformers

    Adding a few (very crappy) photos of my current setup. Moving to a much smaller living space forced me to get cabinets (Detolf from IKEA) for the stuff I wanted to display. Macross Frontier; Macross DYRL/SDFM; I reckon at some point I'll invest in a decent DSLR but until then apologies for the iPod photos! -b.

    The release date shows around the end of March according to AmiAmi, Nippon-Yasan and folks that have translated updates from Arcadia. On Sale in a few months? Wouldn't count on it. -b.

    Ditto! Although I probably won't have the occasion to see this in the theater but I'll definitely add it to my home collection (much like The Lego Movie once it comes out). -b.

    Agree, the 171 has the least fun transformation out of all of Bandai's Frontier Valks. I decided to take a look at my 2 CF 171's and neither of them have cracks (real or developing) in the small triangle/black pieces (the ones w/out any markings), but 1 does have a crack developing on one of the NUNS pieces (they both are displayed in Battroid mode and only transformed the once to get them there). Didn't look at my Alto 171-EX but I'm fine with it just sitting in Fighter with Armor on. If there are any cracks developing then I simply don't care to know about them. -b.

    The point is that Wolverine (good, bad or indifferent) is the face of the X-Men movie universe, something you wanted to dispute for this movie based on the latest trailer. For the record Jennifer Lawrence is billed after James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender - in that order (the 2:23 second mark). The poster was just a small jab because it's all Wolverine (and Mystique as you point out) and a bunch of 'lil tiny X-Men. -b.

    So I missed the news then. I won't re-hash my views on it (good or bad), I'll just hope that any continuation greatly improves on Prometheus. -b.

    Did you notice that Hugh Jackman has top billing over the credits? Did you notice that the lead in for this movie was The Wolverine or that the next Wolverine sequel has a write on board? It's really not even debatable that these movies tend to revolve heavily around Wolverine and Hugh Jackman. The major plot seems to evolve around future Xavier and Magnus and their past counterparts to avoid the future shown, so of course the trailer is going to illustrate that, but make no mistake they probably aren't the alpha-male/protagonist main attractions. It'll be all about Wolvy's misadventures as he tries to get them to play nice and save the future. And those aren't complaints from me, just observations of what is, and best guesses based on them. Regarding Cyclops as the quintessential X-Man, I wholeheartedly agree, for the comics that is (even though I'm not sure what's going on with the character in that medium) but he was pretty useless and disposable in the 1st and 2nd X-Men movies. Blame the writers for zeroing in on Wolverine as the most popular X-character. And @ Duke - phrasing (in my best Archer voice). -b.

    That's normal for Nippon-Yasan, they typically send out payment notices a week or so before the release date of pre-order items. -b.

    Yeah, I keep forgetting that Beth is Maggie's little sister and the lack of empathy is a little off-putting but it could be the shock from how their Dad was killed mixed with Daryl seems to be the only one missing her, presumably because he's the only one that knows she is still alive. -b.

    Okay, now I'm excited for this. *Agree, but Wolverine has undoubtedly become the face of the X-Men movie-verse/franchise so there's no way around that. But who knows this movie might still have one of the most iconic Wolverine comic moments in the film. -b.

    This weeks episode had too much of a "feel good story" to it, which makes me think the final episode is going to be all sorts of f'ed up. -b.

    LOL - I know the 30 wasn't in Frontier (TV, Movies, etc.), but it's within the same time frame (a year or so after the events of Frontier - right?) and is generally included in the conversations that encompass Frontier. The 30 has a S.M.S. pilot as well. That's all I meant. -b.

    For some odd reason I thought I had (4) on pre-order as well. Thankfully I only have (3); (2) from the HLJ Black Friday sale and (1) from Hobby Search. On one hand I'm sad that I don't have that one more extra "thing" that I really don't need but on the other I'm happy to have that $ 300 or so back in my pocket. Meh, Macross-collector problems. -b.
