Sent you a PM. -b.

That's really well said. And truly all it comes down to is wanting a *good* series. -b.

Ha! You're probably already swooshing one around the room. -b.

They come 2 in a case - that's how my shipment arrived too. The box for the 19 is actually relatively small (the YF-19 boxes are much smaller than the last version). -b.

Folks were probably also distracted trying to order this Metal Build; www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-005284&page=top But yeah, once the G and S get re-releases it's gonna be pandemonium. -b.

That's such an understatement. Can't wait for Captain America this Friday and Agents of Shield next week! -b.

Had a helluva time getting everything lined up just right with the Fast Packs in Fighter mode. Was not fun at all (I'm too OCD, everything had to be lined up perfectly). 5 minutes later I took them off, this one will stay naked. -b.

Well I was able to get one at AmiAmi, I'm glad that it was kinda quiet - probably the only reason I was able to score a copy. -b.

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015

It only goes live for special occasions and announcements. -b. -
Yep, 200% agree about the too much time of the last season being about "that" weekend. The finale was fine but it definitely could have used another episode or 3 to help with the pacing. LOL - I will probably due a full series run on Netflix at some point over a long weekend. I thought Barney was pretty legendary, but what a way to end it. 31 for 31 and BAM. I think that this article does a good job articulating the finale; http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?news=860040&ocid=Outbrain=obinsite In non-HIMYM news I'm looking forward to watching The Strain and The Last Ship this summer. Hopefully they are decent. -b.

The Transformers Thread (licensed) Next
Kanedas Bike replied to mikeszekely's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Don't feel too bad man, I'll be putting some stuff (most likely Hot Toys Iron Man armors) on eBay to help absorb some of the costs for recent Macross related purchases. Outside of existing pre-orders I'm going to stick with Macross and TF'ers for the foreseeable future. -b.- 16946 replies

So after about 10 minutes of hands-on time with mine I can agree with everyone about this just being a work of art. I also see where people might have issues like those that pipedream had with the nosecone locking properly in place. I had to make sure everything was aligned just right so it'd lock. That's not to say that his didn't have an actual problem that needed to be fixed, but I can see it being a common enough 'issue', especially as folks get used to this Valk. I'm more of a Fighter Mode guy so I'm in no rush to transform this to Battroid now, or ever (if an arm cannon gets released then I will change my tune). @ChaoticYeti - make those stands buddy, they are really nice and I'd be willing to support the project with a purchase or two. Now back to my YF-19! -b.

Arcadia 1/60 Perfect Transformation VF-0D for 2015

Ha. Ha. Ha. But for reals, if you'd posted a SRP of 50,000 JPY vs. a cancellation some of the members here would have burned this place down. -b. -
Was out last night so I just watched the finale for HIMYM and I think it was a very bittersweet ending to the show. I haven't seen all of the episodes and I'm pretty sure I've missed a season or two (or more) but it was a sitcom I truly enjoyed. Currently must watch-list includes (in no particular order); Archer, The Walking Dead, The Following, Sleepy Hollow, Marvel Agents of Shield, Almost Human, Game of Thrones and True Detective. Currently in my catch-it-if-I-catch it list; Supernatural, South Park, Family Guy, Helix (huge letdown of a premise) Key and Peele and others. Will definitely be cutting down my time in front of the TV, especially with the summer months coming but there are a few shows I enjoy for my daily escape. -b.

That reads more of a conscious decision not to buy vs. items being out of financial reach. -b.

Well went and saw this and thank God I didn't listen to that review. He got so many more things wrong than right it's not even funny (I don't mean opinions, I mean details). That said; Yes, some of the characters are hard to like. Although Arnold does try to explain this in-movie as a byproduct of the work he and his team do as members DEA. Yes, plot holes and unfinished story points. Yes, CGI blood which seems to now be omnipresent in movies. No, Arnie is NOT the only one in this movie with any integrity. And by the end of this movie you'll want to curse the reviewer above for even saying that nonsense. No, tons of innocent bystanders are not killed or hurt. About 2 or 3 actual random civilian casualties shown with no more than the average Joe Schmo put in danger in any other movie with action like this. No, blood was not gratuitous - however the movie was very graphic. One really good Arnold comedy/one-liner moment that if you blink you miss it, the few folks in the audience all laughed. If you really like Arnold and you enjoyed Training Day and/or End of Watch then check this out as a rental on Redbox or Netflix. When all is said and done I agree with the C- grade, but not for the reasons articulated in that YouTube review (i.e. complains about what he views as gratuitous violence but then says parts of the movie where no violence occurs is boring). Oh, and Arnold's character truly could have been played by anyone that was an Expendable. Minus the one Arnie-centric joke it would have been the same movie. Just sayin' -b.

LOL - right! One nitpick about the season finale and that entire sequence is that no one seemed to notice that they were being herded. But hey, still a good episode and 100% agree with skullmilitia on the ending to a TWD season. -b.

For me the Rick found his balls again moment was at the end just before and after the train car. The moment you guys are talking about felt more like a reactionary "I have to do what I must to save my son/friends/loved-ones" than an awakening, or remembrance that he could in fact still kick ass. Long wait for sure, but as cliffhangers go this one isn't that bad/nerve-wrecking. -b.

^That's too bad, was actually looking forward to checking Sabotage out but if what the reviewer said is accurate, about all, or most, of the characters being incredibly unlikeable then I may pass (personal pet peeve if all the "good" guys are a-holes or pure idiots). Did anyone here see Sabotage? Thoughts/Opinions on it? -b.

For those interested, back up at AmiAmi; http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-002551 Higher discount than what's currently listed on HLJ (18% vs. 10%). -b.

Agreed! Some of what happened was kind of to be expected, but the details of how events unfolded were a bit 'unexpected'. Me also thinks that jvmacross has a crystal ball of some sort. -b.
