If it's a DX release you want then you should make that wish to Bandai. At this point I'm going to move past what I want from Arcadia to just going with hoping they make sound business decisions. At some point sooner or later whatever is on my wish list will either come around, or it won't - but as long as Arcadia is still in business that "wish" is still in play. -b.

It must be the pics you've seen - Alto's VF-25F has a very clear/translucent blue color. I remember someone on the board had to actually point it out to me because even after having them in-hand I thought it was clear (until I started noticing the blue, purple, etc. tints on Bandai's Renewal line). The darkest tints (IMO) are on Isamu's YF-29 and on the VF-171 (Alto or Standard). -b.

Well for the record, I'm never leaving. Ever. And the more that I look at my YF-19 the more I want another paint scheme, there is absolutely no reason for Arcadia not to milk this mold. -b.

Ha - all is forgiven. If release is around August then I'm guessing the pre-orders should open in about a month (for some reason I think Bandai opens them up 3 months or so before release). Anyone else please feel free to keep me honest. -b.

This (well most of that anyway). I actually kind of like the movie designs from the first three movies, Prime, Bumblebee and Sideswipe chief among them, but I'm not really keen on some of the Samurai-esq designs from AoE. And I want a t-shirt of Prime riding Grimlock. The end. -b.

Was wondering when someone was going to post pics from B_A_T_'s Photostream. Those/these pictures sure do show a lot more detail on this and Ozma's YF-29. Still not completely sold on the design, but I like that the missile pod has opening doors for launch and a few other details that I was able to see more clearly. -b.

There will be more Macross releases from Arcadia this year (like the VF-19 bundle), but the YF-19 will be the only new mold/design/re-design. Everything else will be straight re-issues or color scheme variations of items already released. Sure would love if some iteration of the VF-4 was included. -b.

Ya know, these types of shows/movies/etc (and especially Whedon) love a redemption angle. So... -b.

^agree Then again I keep thinking back to series like Firefly and Angel where Whedon and crew like to make characters good guys, then bad guys, or bad, then good (I'm over-simplifying) to add complexity to the characters and the story. I'm just happy as hell that Marvel is doing so well and that we have another Whedon show that will be around for the foreseeable future. -b.

Wings on mine are even/symmetrical. Also want to clarify my earlier post, I'm happy with my purchase and don't have any "issues" with the release. I was say I'm also sorry to see/read that others are less than pleased. It could be a vocal minority or just the theme for this 19 iteration. -b.

Personal preference/sense of "what I think looks cool". I only like Gerwalk on the VF-1, most other Valks = meh. -b.

So after a few days hands on with my 2nd Yamato VF-4G (1st remains unopened) I have to say hands down this is my favorite VF toy. I say this having never transformed it since I'm not a fan of the 4G's Battroid or Gerwalk modes but Fighter mode is so beautiful I'm so happy to have it in my collection. With the heft, seemingly excellent build quality and overall aesthetic I'm in love. I would 200% hands-down buy a re-release or variant if Arcadia decides to release them. -b.

More like underwhelmed, or even disappointed relative to expectation of product or price. And yeah, me too - I like my toys and if people stop buying from one company or the other then the chances of me continuing to have the opportunity to buy said toys diminishes, and that makes me . -b.

^ me too I think the whole focus of AoS is to find out who is a Hydra agent and just how deep any infiltrators/conspiracies run, all while trying to stay alive. -b.

2014 Godzilla looks fine to me. Even the toy version looks OK, I guess I'm in the minority thinking that the "old school" Godzilla had a certain goofiness to his look. -b.
