  1. You're (3) episodes ahead of me, I just like the planes. -b.
  2. Somebody got themselves a deal; http://ekizo.mandarake.co.jp/shop/en/item_s-1035463.html -b.
  3. http://www.empireonline.com/301/ Top Ten: 1. "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" 2. "The Godfather" 3. "The Dark Knight" 4. "The Shawshank Redemption" 5. "Pulp Fiction" 6. "Star Wars: A New Hope" 7. "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" 8. "Jaws" 9. "Raiders Of The Lost Ark" 10. "Inception" Some of these movies were indeed excellent, but this definitely isn't my Top 10 (for me The Shawshank Redemption is ranked #1) with most of these not even in my Top 10...but hey. -b.
  4. But just as you said - not one mention, not even a itsy-bitty-tiny-hint. She just came across as more misguided than vengeful. I honestly believed she believed that she was doing the right thing for her people. -b.
  5. Don't get me wrong, they're a decent enough size that you can appreciate the details and the aircraft, but my lasting impression when admiring thru the box was "dang, that's a small scale completed model". But then again, I could also be spoiled by the size of our various Valkyries. -b.
  6. ^Accuracy in Bot mode is far and away better in just about every way, but if it's personal preference or a leaning towards Transformers that transform then we each like what we like. -b.
  7. Are sometimes very cool AND better than those that do. DMK Prime and Bumblebee as my favorite examples. -b.
  8. Not necessarily, they painted Mystique as wanting justice or rather revenge for all of mutant kind, otherwise if it's just for that group from First Class then her motivations are very selfish and beneath the grandiose ideals of her two would-be suitor/fathers, Magneto (peace thru dominance) and Xavier (peace thru acceptance). I got the impression she was doing what she was doing for all mutants, not just for those she had past interactions with. -b.
  9. Can't wait to actually have these in my hands, I owned the FFR-31MR for years but never opened the box and ended up selling it MISB. I do wish that they were just a tad larger, but the amount of detail and accessories help make up for that minor nitpick. -b.
  10. But...but...driving to different stores is so much fun. -b.
  11. Yes and it no longer does because now it never happened. Check out the last few pages of this thread to see discussion on that point. -b.
  12. Smart thing that you did, I had a lot of the v1 VF-25's and those that didn't break I sold. My 25S Armor Bundle never had any issues while I had it, but reading this I wonder how it's held up over the years with it's new owner. And if Arcadia was able to do a VF-25 I'd literally flip with joy. -b.
  13. Well at least you call first...I just show up, kick the door in and look for what I want. Was at another store today (Meijer's- very similar to Wal Mart or Target) and walked past the toy section and saw a few of those Evasion Primes on the end caps. -b.
  14. Agree about the Fighter mode for the Anniversary YF-29/Cerberus Valk, I especially like the nosecone the two-tone black and white. -b.
  15. And that's why I'm a solitary hunter (in person at least). It just got too annoying to explain to my non-collector friends about this, that or the other. And you really should have said "floppy dinosaur" - they'd have been riding out on that one for hours. -b.
  16. ^Well sh!t...it was Jason Voorhies after all; http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10276507 There's a corresponding Freddy from Nightmare on Elm Street as well. -b.
  17. Arcadia really does need to re-release the Super & Strike Parts, but they had also better re-release a DYRL VF-1S Max to match the Roy and Hikaru. I don't care about the DYRL 1A's at all, but they need to at least do the 1S's. You hear me Arcadia? Do. It. Thank You. -b.
  18. So now I feel "lucky" that it's only the smaller triangle pieces on mine are faulty and not (knocking on wood) the NUNS pieces. I remember how excited I was when this got announced, I told the girl I was dating at the time and how I'd have to stay up late for the pre-order and blah, blah, blah, and bless her she was happy for my geeky excitement. And now this Valk is just like that relationship...GARBAGE. -b.
  19. Kanedas Bike

    1/48 dead?

    1/1 -b.
  20. Honestly they could have just said that they were off in the world doing their own thing, they didn't have to make them casualties. Not sad about it though, felt worse for the actors playing those roles than the for the actual characters. -b.
  21. Went to two Toys R Us stores today and saw no MP Grimlock but one store had two MP Year of the Horse Optimus Primes on the shelf. Was sorely tempted to pick up another one but, "meh". Plenty of AoE and Generations stuff on the shelves though. -b.
  22. Well, you know how it is big guy. -b.
  23. Yeah, it is fun hunting - that's why even though I really don't want a MP Grimlock I've been looking for one, purposely avoiding buying it online and looking only at my local Toys R Us. Space is really at a premium for me right now so even though I LOVE having extra's, even if I could find and/or was inclined to buy another Ozma 29 I'd have no placed to put it! -b.
  24. Glad I didn't sell you my one! All jokes aside, impressive. -b. *edit for spelling
