  1. That HLJ link has been up with a limit of 20 since at least 7 AM EST when I woke up this morning, if it's still up expect a whole slew of cancellation notices going out. -b.
  2. Depends on how the series treats the Jedi. The Mandalorian so far has followed the more grounded approach of Rogue One and has so avoided the more fantastic elements of Star Wars. I don't really see the show runners deviating much from that, even with the inclusion of Ahsoka and any other Jedi, Sith or Force-users. But...who knows, and it's an interesting theory. That said, I'm totally with you on a stronger connection between Baby Yoda and Old Man Yoda besides just being members of the same species, but flip a coin on how they'll play it. I'd also really like to see a live action Ezra and Sabine but not until the last season(s). -b.
  3. Do you know when these are supposed to go live? The links aren't working for me. And thank you for posting! -b.
  4. ...I mean, if I had young kids for sure. At least it had the same violent slapstick humor that actually made me chuckle a couple of times. But obviously not made for me so I care about this as much as I care about any other kids movie. I don't lol -b.
  5. If theaters reopen by then I'll go to the movies to see it, but if not I have HBO Max via my cable provider and I'll just watch it at home. I'd also pay a premium if Warner were to follow a similar model as Disney did with Mulan (which I did not care to pay for). -b.
  6. It's still kind of early, the release for Roy isn't until 11/28. -b.
  7. Exactly. But that said, I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see more of that over-arching theme appear a little bit sooner. My complaint is that the episodes are too short, can we get an hour each please Disney +???? -b.
  8. Hopefully they don't go full-on "subvert the audience's expectations"! Partially agree with both of you, I enjoyed seeing the -b.
  9. Same! But keep trying AmiAmi has let me check out after about 20 minutes or so of frustration for other in-demand items. Thank you! Got one at HLJ. -b.
  10. Rest in Peace. For me The Untouchables was always one of my favorite Sean Connery films; -b.
  11. Yep! Can't wait to see where the series goes and if all of the pre-drama about the story becoming less "The" Mandalorian-centric is founded or just more internet noise lol. -b.
  12. Thought it was a fantastic start to the 2nd season. Pretty sure there was a “speedy” throwback to SW Episode I as well. -b.
  13. Razor Crest!!!! Edit - whenever I have similar decisions I always think about what will be (relatively) easier to track down and/or afford on the after market. If I had to bet, I'd bet that the VF-4 regular or premium may go up by let's say $50-$100 3 to 6 months after release, the Razor Crest is going to freaking skyrocket. -b.
  14. Thanks for posting the links earlier, I've been on a Hasbro Star Wars kick lately so I picked up the Target Black Series and Walmart vintage Mandalorian figures. -b.
  15. ^Chromedome and Brainstorm were two of my favorite Transformers as a kid. I absolutely loved playing with them. -b.
  16. Not sure why, but as a Star Trek fan that thought/idea strikes me as pretty tragic. CBS really should have just let Star Trek as a property rest a bit after Star Trek: Beyond. -b.
  17. Good point, Star Trek has had a pretty consistent stable of creatives, at least as it relates to TV and Movies. I'm not at all familiar with the novels and games. One of the things I was happy about with the Disney acquisition of Star Wars and tossing out the EU was the thought that they'd create a tighter universe a la Marvel. Too bad that didn't work out with the Sequel Trilogy ...but I digress. Maybe we're just one more reboot away from righting the ship with regards to Star Trek. Wait, is did this actually happen??? I still haven't watched any of the CBS all-access stuff so I rely on these threads to keep me informed. lol Agreed. Nemesis was bad, but it was not Insurrection bad. And I agree about Shinzon, that was a wasted opportunity to really cultivate an interesting anti-Picard. I really, really, really, really wish Star Trek was in a place where the conversations centered around how interesting the characters are and how innovative the story telling is. For the record, that's not a dig on the fans, but a dig at the folks making the creative decisions. But oh well. -b.
  18. I remember! Those were the days, there was pre-order madness but not like it is now. These days I feel like you're lucky to get 1 copy at a decent price. I still have at least 1 of the original Alto 29's, it's on display and now I'm debating what to do with it. Nice! -b.
  19. It's worth it, but worse case scenario you'll be able to find a buyer to take it off of your hands. Remember the days of getting 3-5 copies of each Valkyrie? -b.
