    My guess is that they'll most likely release repaints, if for no other reason to maximize profit on the mold. There were (4) repaints of the 29 so I'd wager "for" vs. "against". But one never knows. -b.

    Still nice picture TCracker, reminds me of how much I loved seeing the Tornado in action (Fighter, Battroid AND Gerwalk) in the first Frontier movie. -b.

    Agree, I was re-configuring my display area and I wanted to have my 30 in Battroid next to a 25F also in Battroid but the matte finish next to the gloss finish look so "off". While I don't necessarily want Bandai to look at VF-1's I would be tempted to double-dip into the Frontier line if they released Valkyries in a matte finish. The VF-1's would be a harder sell (for me) because I'm quite happy with Yamato/Arcadia on that front. -b.

    Yes. A 1,000,000,000 times yes. It amazes me how Bandai will just randomly cheap-out on certain aspects of certain releases and then seem to go extra on others (the gunpod on the 25A comes to mind). -b.

    YEEESSS - lol Ha ha ha, ditto! More on topic, while at first I pretty ambivalent about the first shade/hue/choice of blue the more I look at the newer scans the more I want a VF-0D with a lighter shade. I won't be terribly upset if it's not 110% anime accurate but my preference at this point would be for this not to look like Max's VF-0D. -b.

    Between all of the recent "love you man" posts ( )I just want to clarify. This is the same VF-0D prototype, and the blue appears different because of variations in how these magazines were printed? 'Cause I really wanted to move onto something different for folks to obsess over, like the gunpod being the wrong size, or the wings being at the incorrect angle or the pilot figure not being able to turn his head or, or, or, or, or... -b.

    Reminds me of something I learned in college Economics; opportunity cost. I'm a "matching set" snob, so even if I had the skill set you possess when it comes to building models I'd either splurge and ruin my budget by buying the DX RVF Super Parts/Ghost set or save to buy a set the minute one pops up for sale. Either way, I don't envy having to decide - so good luck! -b.

    Gotcha, I don't want to steer you wrong but I don't think so. I would poke around the Workshop section of the forums to see if anyone made a 1J head. The other thing to consider is trying to find one of Yamato's VF-1J un-assembled kits, but those might be hard to come by. -b.

    Depends on which scale and company you're looking for. There were a few aftermarket VF-1 heads available in 1/55 and 1/48 scale. Not sure if the VF-1J was among them though. -b.

    Poor neglected YF-30. I'd flip for a low vis or "real world" paint scheme on any subsequent releases, I'd keep that one in Fighter mode even though I'm one of the few that's not a fan of the rounder canopy. -b.

    Accounting for any variations in personal preference of which unique Valkyries I'd want, I wholeheartedly agree. -b.

    Dredd may not be popular, or well known enough to warrant that type of investment. Well that could be fixed, and it'd do much better on networks like FX, Starz or Showtime, the violence could be maintained and it's easy enough to add things to spice it up. -b.
