Several animators have been commisioned for the Legion. These designs have leaked on to the net. Could this be the Legion? -
Alas, still no official announcement for the Legion of Superheroes from WB but ComicsContinuum has an interview with Andy Milder(voice of Lightning Lad). Also, Superboy will be in the show check this link.losh

Live Action Golgo 13
terry the lone wolf replied to terry the lone wolf's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Ken Takakura played G-13 in the early 70's from Toei. Here's a link:G-13 -
Ok, I've heard about "Operation Kowloon" starring the great Sonny Chiba but wasn't there another live action Golgo 13? I heard it was the first and is really rare. Has anybody have any info on it?

Damn CN! They better make up for the cancellation of JLU with some JL movies or specials. There'll be a Teen Titans movie and I expect an JL movie. -
Minmay In The Transformers Movie
terry the lone wolf replied to kazeofwinds's topic in Movies and TV Series
Why not? And other anime works should be so respectful. Anime might have a different face in the world today without seminal works like Macross... 378234 Any resemblence to Minmay is purely coincidental! -
I have the middle variant and both audio/video is very good. Some of the translation sucks but the they do include the Tekkaman Blade OVA specials: Twin Blood, Burning Clock, and Missing Ling.

I'd rather he say "sempai" than try to translate an essentially untranslatable-in-one-word concept. 353266 I'd rather they not throw in Japanese words at all. Either call him "Roy" or leave it out. 353281 Well if Mari's speaking a little "Engrish" I don't have a problem with that. C'mon, Tony Oliver is Hikaru!!!!

That would certainly put a whole new spin on the "But I was going in to Toshi Station to pick up some power convertors" line. 334244 I'd pay mad bucks to hear Reba's rendition of "Do You Remember Love"! Hee, hee!!

Looking For Super Spacefortress Macross
terry the lone wolf replied to neonboy619's topic in Movies and TV Series
I used to own that copy too; twice as a matter of fact. Both times they were copyed straight from laser disc. That's the holy grail of Macross videos. You should look for the Best Film & Video Corp. copy. It's not letterbox but it's not cut up like COTB. -
The Trailer for Batman Begins is OUT!
terry the lone wolf replied to Anubis's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Looks good but it does resemble the first Batman movie a wee bit(that was a lil'bit of a downer). Eventhough, they're doing a lot more cool Batman shots like crouching, perching, and standing on tops of buildings surveying Gotham(that's cool). The ninja stuff was a fresh addition to the movieverse(comics and animation has been doing that stuff for years; don't know what took the movies so long). All and all it looks nice; I'd watch it. -
That's because the series is VAPORWARE (and I shall continue to think so until I see a pilot episode)... it'll only be released on this type of media they call YOUR FREAKIN' IMAGINATION..... *sigh* I keep wanting to hope HG actually does something right.. but it's setback after setback... Tommy revealed that DR Movie will finish principle animation in July then it's off to post production. All of the preproduction sketches and the U.N. ad are previews to the series.

Update:At the London Expo Iona Morris, Fox Kids's animated X-men's Storm and Robotech's Claudia Grant, has been confirmed as the voice of Dr. Jean Grant in Shadow Chronicles. Thanks shadowchroniclesnews.com for the info and pics. Also on the site there is a cool animatic featuring two members in the series with voice overs.

Why doesn't Manga do a english dub version of the Movie Edition? I'd buy that. -
Possible X-Men 3 Villain Revealed?
terry the lone wolf replied to Ladic's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That's right; Colossus was created by Len Wein and Dave Cockrum in Giant Sized X-Men no.1. As was Storm, Nightcrawler, and Thunderbird. Banshee, Sunfire, and Wolverine, although they were members of the "All New, All Different X-Men", all appeared in earlier Marvel books. -
