Official - Weapons Banter Thread

Hate to change the discussion a bit, but would anyone know where you can purchase sharpened samurai or tai chi swords online? I know of a few stores that carry swords, but none of them are sharpended. -
I used to have Speed Channel until Time Warner switched up our package. Bastards Is the Barret Jackson car show still on there? It was great watching all of those vintage Muscle cars fetching six figures. I've been watching Formula D and some other car show on G4 lately. They had Jerry TSai from VF1X.com on Formula D. I like the new Charger, but the idea of them turning it into a family sedan was retarded. There are several price points below the Viper that they could have placed a new sports car. Is Pontiac finished with the Trans Am and Firebird?

Lee and the Chief are quickly becoming my favorite characters aboard the Galactica. BTW The UK version is going to be released tomorrow at Best Buy. Is it worth buying? Or should I wait for the US release?

Whats the premise of the comic? If Alan Moore did it then I'm sure it was a good story, I never read it. Natalie only sleepwalked in Star Wars. But she wasn't the only one. I heard that she got good reviews from that flick she did with Julia Roberts and and Clive Owen. -
Do you guys think Yamato will reissue the Hikaru vf-1s?

Welcome to the family!! What other options did you get on your car? I see that you got the 17 in bullit wheels. You should check 5.0 mustang and super fords. In their last several issues they've had alot of articles and ads that show alot of the customization options being done and available for the 05's.

Well said Mech

Awesome Helmet!! I can't wait to see it once it is finished. More people ought do more custom figurines.

Really? Who do you blame for her lackluster performance in Catwoman? Or B.A.P.S.? Gothika, Die Another Day, The Rich Man's Wife, or Swordfish? (though her nude chest acted extremely well in that one ) All I'm saying is every other actor in Singer's X-Men did a fine job and she's been known to stink up the screen before. Ratner's X3 will very likely lead the X-Men franchise into a shiny, special effects-laden, soulless filmmaking. See what happened after Burton left Batman and basically sit back and watch it all happen again. IMHO, there's not a whole ton of difference between Brett Ratner and Joel Schumacher. I liked Singers work on the X-men, I don't think there are many other directors ( maybe Pete Jackson or Raimi) that could've done a better job than him given the time and budgetary constraints he had to work with. All I'm saying is that coming into the film, Halle like some of the other actors in the film weren't that fimiliar with the characters they were playing. I felt if he would've worked with her a little more i.e made her more familiar with the character, then maybe she could have done a better job of depicting Storm. Like I said the decision to cut Storms and Cyclops origins from the 1st film really weakend the actors portrayals. Making Wolvie the POV character also cheaped the other X-mens roles but someone had to be the POV for the audience so that isn't really a complaint of mine. But, ultimately its the directors job too get the best performance from the actors. Not the other way around. BTW on AICN there is a possible story outline for X3 and discussion of why Singer wasn't retained. It didn't sound too good, and I think this next film may signal the end of the franchise.

The $39,000 tag for the Cobra is right on cue. The 03-04 Cobras went for about 35K. I too fear that demand will exceed the supply. I heard there was some serious price gouging when the Cobra R's came out. Hence Dealers will probably sell them for more than the suggeseted MSRP. Fords new Flat Rock plant has had probems churning out enough GT'S to meet demand. I heard that they have since stepped up production of the GT. Hopefully this will be resolved once the Cobra goes into production. But different areas of the country seem vary in their ability to stock the more sought after cars. Damn I gotta get me one of those.

The version I have is .37 beta 16

Cool Toy A7. My only real complaint are the projectiles. How much does that cost btw?

The Mame 32 version I have is for windows. How could I use the command-line version, with the EmuLoader frontend or do I need to download another emulator?
-
Hey I downloaded the Mac Plus game from Romnation but I can't get it to play using my mame 32 emulator. I placed the zip file in my rom folder ( I see it listed), but when I open up Mame 32 there is no listing of the game. I can't find it in any of the other directories as well. Did I do something wrong? Am I a complete idiot? any help would be appreciated.

Hilarious SW Ep III condensed script
Golden Arms replied to ComicKaze's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I forgot about the sonic charges. Because there is so much wind in outer space to carry the sound -
The new "The Batman" series mirrors the new movie. From the Eps i've seen it has a young bruce err batman much like the film. The voice actor seems to be younger as well. The animation is very different from the 1st BTAS. It hasn't really grabbed me like BTAS did. It isn't as stylized and I don't think the production level is up to the original's standards.

Hilarious SW Ep III condensed script
Golden Arms replied to ComicKaze's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Damn that pretty much nailed EP III!!!! Great find ComicK!! He did forget to mention how insanely impossible it would be for 2 people to conduct a fight over a bed of molten lava. You'd think that they'd atleast show the soles of their shoes melted or the charcters covered in ash. But logic and a SW film are mutually exclusive. -

I saw some of man-thing, and yes it was putrid, but worse than Steele ??? I don't think so. -
Prime is MUCH too cool to be a Ford. Real people( ranchers, contractors-- professionals that actually use the trucks for the designed use) that buy full sized trucks don't buy them to be "cool" . They buy them because they're functional. Hence Superduty and F350.
