  1. My cash needs to be given to you Mike.
  2. Nah, it's applejuice for god's sake!
  3. I hope everything's ok...
  4. Hi Rob, I think you have a typo in the url. Here: Samurai-monkey Umm, everything is gone? We need to register again and stuff? Or will the old content be copied to the new boards?
  5. Samurai-monkey, Starship modeler, Hobbyfanatics... The places I check out anyway many times a day.
  6. I always check new pics you guys show us. Everytime I just love the work you have done. Enough said?
  7. Thanks Berttt, I think it would be best to see high res pics of unpainted parts with a black panel wash so that the details could be seen.
  8. Looking at this pic, I am having temptations to get it afteral... Heck, I don't know... No, not from this auction. http://i4.ebayimg.com/02/i/06/f9/e2/f7_3.JPG Hey Berttt, since you have seen it in person, can you describe how fine details it has in reality? I am guessing the finest lines can't be seen in the pictures. Was there a lot of fine scribings and stuff?
  9. Moose Trained by Yutte Hermsgervordenbroti. I just love that movie.
  10. I couldn't access here in about two days.
  11. Some companies go with cheap stuff, see Warp from England. Those models are made from good masters but the material used renders them unbuildable, and they are STILL expensive. There is no such thing as a shortcut to good quality resin - the kit´s price is justified! It has grown on me every time I had a look at it - now if I only had the money to spare.... 394440[/snapback] I was expecting it to be more expensive actually. The price isn't bad, if you just are happy with the sculpt. Oh, Honeamise, you have begun to like it more again? I would need to see some reviews and even build ups before I could know for sure. Wayne said he was going to keep it available longer possibly IIRC. I could consider it if I heard enough of good things about it.There are a couple of bigger things I don't like with the sculpt. To name one, the thick engine fins in the back. I would want to modify those, and other stuff too. It is correct to be organic, but it should still have very fine detail. I can't really know how that would look in person. Chrono sounds like he hasn't a clue about producing original GKs and their price ranges. No one serious modeler doesn't want crappy material to be used to lower the price. What I hear is that Wayne does superb casting. Well, Berttt saw it in person. And a half a meter cucumber is not exactly a small kit.
  12. I wouldn't ever compare Yamatos and Hasegawas. Yamatos are VERY rough compared to ultra fine Hasegawas. Since they are toys. They are nice, don't get me wrong, but not comparable to Hasegawas or any model kits. Oh, the reason why Yamatos are not kits, is that they are toys. Simple as that. And if you want 1/48 model kit Valkyrie, you are spending a lot more money for that than a Yamato...
  13. I am also willing to pay it asap. I have reserved the money for it a long time. I have no doubts that I will be happy with it, but I understand your situation Kylwell. Unfortunately I'm not personally capable to do a review due to my lack of experience. But maybe somebody will do that.
  14. How much work there is to make a Gerwalk from Hasegawa Valk? I suppose you need parts fom both kits, at least the hands. Maybe feet too? I think it sucks that Gerwalk mode has been completely forgotten in those kits. It is the most unpopular mode, but I have always thought it is cool.
  15. Yeah I want to give my money to you Mike! Seriously, I hope everything is going ok.
  16. I don't understand what is the point to transform a model kit. Even the joints are more like for posing them and leave it like it is. If you want a toy, buy a toy. IMO that is of course.
  17. Whoa!!! That is cool!
  18. Wow, that looks amazing!
  19. Hell yeah!!! Did we talk about 1/72? Well, if there is enough of resin in Germany for that I suppose...
  20. How about Daedalus or Prometheus? Yeah they don't exactly fly, but... Hmm, I need a Prometheus... I just remembered one of my diorama ideas...
  21. It could be a moose also.
  22. I hope we get soon some info how's it going with the kit.
  23. About the organic look thing... That is true that the ships are that way, but it also is because of the way the anime was drawn. Take a look at Dyrl, even the Vf display messages etc are very liberately drawn. There isn't pretty much a single straight line, and that was the improved looking version of Macross. I think the organic look is overdone with that ship, making it look too amateur-like & rough. If it was more defined I would've bought it for sure. If the Valks were modeled just the way they look in the anime...
  24. That must be the one that's sold at SSM?!?
  25. Well, I know a LOT more expensive models around though.
