First post here. I have fond memories of Robotech when I was growing up, and I give HG credit for introducing anime to the US when it was relatively unknown. However, the original Macross is the version that I recommend to others now as a starting point. I had been wanting to get back into Macross so the timing of the Hikaru store edition release was good. I picked one up along with the Super parts.
