yup. i believe it was shown in episode 6 (or the episode where sheryl wreaks havoc in alto's school because she wanted to get a feel of how it is to study there) where an ex-gear's arm was open and it showed the wearer's hand inside, gripping a control stick with different buttons which i suspect might be to trigger action macros.

regarding the YF-21's junked state after colliding with the X-9, was it because its metal is comparably "softer" or something like it, even with eca? i was thinking of that because it can change shape...?

chrono, given those figures, how then was the YF-19 able to attain orbit on its own, seeing that the engine output is less than the space shuttle's main engines (which isn't the main contributor to its orbital insertion)? i'm thinking weight doesn't factor much here...

alto definitely got a major smackdown from brera this time. and i loved ranka's huge projection while singing ai oboete imasuka this episode was great!

^^^ externally, i agree. though brera's 27 might be packing more thrust or something. and the 25's barrier was nice, though not surprising. we did see pinpoint barriers way back on both the YF-19 and YF-21 so they should have improved on it by the time of frontier.
