  3. that happens to me a lot when i post about obscure locomotives on various railroad forums
  4. I thought it might interest some people so you can watch it here. In no way am i affiliated with the original maker of it I simply thought it was a cool documentary on an obscure mecha anime based on the Namco (now known as BandaiNamco) game from the 1980s.
  5. Lol i made the same mistake as a kid. Ironically i had also been watching Goldorak (french dubbed grendizer) as a kid around the same time not knowing both had involvement from Go Nagai
  6. Was with my father & we recently saw almost all the CG Saint Seiya on Netflix (final 2 left) & was shocked that Shun was now a woman as both the original manga &anime Shun is a man. However i will admit the dub cast is much better than the edited DIC dub that barley anyone remembers & is lost media. i know its not this season as someone who rarely watches modern anime anything within in the past decade is current to me.
  7. Damn 7 years that vmake's me wish i joined MacrossWorld sooner as i loved being on the Robot Japan Forum (shame it's now mostly a ghost town if you don't talk about ChoGoKin) & for years only went here when it linked to here.
  8. OEL my means Original English Language
  9. yup & it is has a Hong Kong produced glisten dub that is legally watchable on youtube.also if you think that's old Sazae-san is still going since 1969
  10. I'm reviving this forum post
  11. I'm watching new episodes of Chibi Maruko chan. i ignored it for so many years until i found out Dancing Pompokolin by Captian Jack in Dance Dance Revolution is an Enghlish language version of the Maruko chan theme song being remixed
  12. Just curious where did your profile picture come from?

  13. Did they also do Voltes V & Daimos? i love those cheesy Philipino English dubs as I remember watching them with a classmate who was originally from the philipenes & had official VCD sets.
  14. yes i am sure. Please see the files i've attached
  15. Just bought the Tim Eldred OEL Manga in TPB from a guy in the UK for $15 & i'm hoping it is good. If it is good i will buy the TPB of the OEL Manga of MD GEIST (also written by Tim Eldred) as it MD GEIST is 1 of favorite Schlock anime
  16. Here is a link to Space Gundam V in case anyone hasn't seen it
  17. good to know as i'm working on a project archiving pre-Tokyopop OEL manga because there is NO WAY IN HELL those are getting republished
  18. is that tehnically the first OEL Manga or did CPM beat them with the Project A-ko, Votoms, & & MD GEIST OEL manga
  19. sorry for confusing you by using floppies as that was a common term i hear used on other forums to refer to left to right manga in individual issue format
  20. Just curious as i've heard conflicting accounts or years & never once have been able to ind solid evidence for them being in a TPB but it might just be rare.
  21. I am 90% sure i first saw it by convincing my mother as a young kid to get The Anime Network for me here in Canada but i might be wrong as it has been such a long time. However i had seen macross DYRL prior due to that Best Film & Video Corp VHS that was being sold for cheap from the local rental shop when anime DVDs were taking off. I do remember being confused as the name changes due to seeing DYRL first however i had no idea that Macross was its own seperate thing until i saw Robotech II & Macross II (both on VHS) side by side as non-dialup internet was still a luxury in my city
  22. It was both DVD from ADV Films & Blu-Ray through Funnimation/crunchyroll. As far as i could tell Mospeada wasn't on VHS in Australia either & it wasn't until a Yellow Box Set that contains the remastered edition. I wish i could find more info. Additionally prior to ADV making the remastered versions from new Japanese scans they sold "Lecacy Editions" which were the raw broadcast versions
