    Mine is en route from Fred, and I’m excited since this is only my 2nd DYRL release (I prefer the aesthetics of TV SDFM aircraft). I’ll definitely check the tail fin when it arrives. Now to find a DX Kakizaki

    With my Hasegawa Regult model, it constantly flopped over, so I used a 1/6 scale figure stand, the type that has the double U-shaped cradle in the groin. Maybe something akin to that

    Received my -1J last night from BBTS, and I’m pretty darned impressed. There are some small things that I don’t like, such as the chunky stand, landing gear color, floppy rudders, and the minor annoyance of the pilot hands not being on the cockpit control column. But all in all, this thing is fantastic! It definitely has a hefty, quality, feel to it and I’m digging the clear parts also. Very happy with this purchase.

    I prefer the darker brown, like the top photo. I have two Brownies, a Bandai Chunky Monkey CF, and a Kitzconcept CF. The KC version is much too light in color. The Bandai looks nice, although I don’t like the glossy finish.

    This. 10-year old me drew dozens and dozens of brownies in 1985/86. I have the DX TV Hikaru/Roy/GBP’s, but the CF is the missing piece for me.

    So my pre-order is thru BBTS If this thing doesn’t come with the pilot, and I’m not really confident that it will, does that mean I’m out of luck even if BBTS’s product description says so? Part of me pre-ordering this thing was because it had an articulated pilot. Hi btw, long time lurker and collector, 1st post here
