  1. Man, I got mine today and it’s a beast! Super impressed (other than the crummy manual). This thing absolutely dwarfs my Riobot
  2. The Elephant Man. One of my favs
  3. If that’s the final production piece, it’s not looking anything like the pre-order pics or the above one in his flight suit. Hard pass.
  4. Got mine today from BBTS Regardless of my opinion regarding the Glu-ger drama, I really like this toy. It feels super hefty and meaty like a Chunky, well-crafted, and the lit up interior and forward targeting blister LEDs look amazing. Very happy with the Battle Pod.
  5. Got my Tamashii about a week ago and it’s the first vanilla -1J I’ve owned (I do have the -1J GBP). Nice color and love having the missiles. For the price, it was an easy sell
  6. BBTS charged my card, so should see shipping in the next day
  7. Got the notice today from GunDamit for remaining payment on the Moshow Cyclone. Sounds like it’s close to shipping
  8. Asking the real questions here! Lol
  9. Yep, got that email this morning.
  10. If this is indeed the case, and those of us who pre-ordered the BP thru BBTS, I take it they (BBTS) have someway of knowing who pre-ordered this thing prior to Dec. 17, 2024, and that those orders will have pilots shipped free to them? I’m not at all confident that this will happen because I’m sure it’ll turn into a “they said / we can’t” deal.
  11. I’m not part of that group, anyway to screenshot or paste his replies here?
  12. So the email I just got from BBTS says that the BattlePod description has been edited to remove the Glug-ger being included. It does not mention being shipped free at a later date. I feel I’m about to cancel my pre-order
  13. Seriously. This is a long wait, and now Missile Pod Regults are showing up in customer hands, when many of us don’t even have an inkling as to when we’ll get our regular ole vanilla pods. Really frustrating.
  14. My pre-order is with BBTS, so assuming this figure doesn’t go into production for another couple of months, combined with the literal slow boat from China, we aren’t seeing the Battle Pod until the Spring time, are we?
  15. Still waiting on my Battle Pod like so many else here
  16. No, mine are just the base model. I used these from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0BDDGTQXS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title Then I used this for cable management: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08887TZH7?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
  17. Thank you! I just did the cable management this past week after getting a 3rd IKEA Blaliden. I was getting irritated with all of the shelf wires running everywhere.
  18. A couple of posters suggested I post up my collection and so I finally relented this is my Macross/RT collection in my bonus space. A have a ton of different hobbies, from Macross toys, to vintage Tamiya RC’s, planes, 1:6 figures. Movie stuff, etc. I got my first Yamato 1/48 in 2009 while stationed overseas, but it’s only been within the last couple of years, that I’ve really added to my collection. Enjoy and thanks for looking!
  19. That’s who I gave my pre-order thru. Just disappointed to see everyone else receiving theirs without any news as to when ours will ship.
  20. Has this hit US retailer shelves at all?
  21. Yamato 1/48 VF-1A Brownie TV Yamato V1 1/60 VF-1A Brownie DYRL Bandai DX 1/48 VT-1 Super Ostrich
  22. @ShawnThank you much for the reply. It’s a difficult pill to swallow but I’ll just stand him up in the back of the display case and not mess with him again. I’m a huge fan of the Mass Production CF’s, so finding a 1/60 one that wasn’t ridiculously priced, was difficult. I haven’t seen any V2 1/60 VF-1A’s CF’s listed at the usual sources. The good news is that the Yamato 1/48 VF-1A CF Brownie I received this evening from another forum member, is absolutely stunning and in beautiful condition. I’m over the moon about this one, and it’s perfect. @jenius Funny you replied because I watched your V2 -1A video many many times before purchasing this pile (thinking I was purchasing a V2 and not a V1). Now I know what to look for and thank you for this graphic.
  23. Necro-bump for affirmation I recieved a Yamato 1/60 VF-1A DYRL Brownie today and didn’t realize that I had bought a V1 (due to my own ignorance). I had only seen reviews of the V2 on YouTube, so everything pointed to buying this thing. Boy, what a mistake. To say I’m disappointed is just a massive understatement; this thing is a total turd. Putting it lightly. I guess I’ve been spoiled by the Big 1/48 Yamatos, Bandai DX’s, Chunky boys, and other models. If I look at this thing wrong, it’s going to fall apart. Right out of the box, the right leg fell off due to a floppy/sloppy thruster slider lock, the right wing hinge was broken, the landing light then fell off the starboard wing, floppy foot/exhaust, I didn’t realize that the canopy wasn’t hinged (similar to the HMR’s), the decals had a taped on “rescue me” yellow arrow onto the sheet, the landing gear completely flopping around and not staying put, plastic tires, yellowing gear doors, yellowing missiles, translucent plastic everywhere, screw covers falling apart, NO PILOT, WTF????, and this thing was “Brand New” from a reputable EBay seller. I guess I finally got bit. Hard lesson to learn over $100 USD. I haven’t been able to find a V2 at a decent price, and when I say decent, not $300 decent. Just bummed over this purchase and thanks for coming to my talk EDIT: Part 2… Left foot thruster snapped completely off. Gun snapped off when extending. Stickers have no adhesive quality left. Jeebus, I’ve built countless models in my lifetime, but this ranks right up there with the Metal Slug tank and Palladium RT Models.
