    Man, I wish someone would make diecast versions of these (or if I'm dreaming, specifically the FM3 wanzers.) Like "Metal Build" or "Hi Metal R" quality type toys. I don't have the skills or patience to assemble and paint kits anymore.

    Yep, after the Max figure I'm willing to forgo any preorder discount to be able to see the actual product and reviews before paying for anything.

    I really hope they make some fast packs for these to help cover up this issue. They couldn't figure out a way to make this fit any flatter? They do look great in fighter mode though.

    Ouch, $71 shipping to US from D4. So far the cheapest preorder for US buyers has been the 1000 Toys listing on Amazon, but that is no longer available, I think Amazon.jp is the current cheapest?

    I've never pre-ordered from Amazon before, I assume they charge when you place the order? Or do they wait until shipment?

    I keep hoping it's a new hi-metal figure announcement every time this thread gets bumped. I hope that line is not dead, I will keep praying for a Bigfoot!

    Guess I'll keep my order open, it's still cheaper than buying direct from KC. I'd really rather get the weathered pod they've teased since I placed this order, but at this point I'd rather have the sure thing. I can always sell it later, I guess, if the weathered version does actually get made.

    I have no interest in the pilot figures. I know some people do so I hope you get them, I just hope the cost of developing these figures doesn't put him in a hole he can't get out of. I wish he would just stick to making good vehicles/robots without the LED lights/secret compartment gimmicks to keep the cost down, but it's not my toy company. As a kid I probably would have liked to have the figures to play with, but let's be honest, at these prices we are mostly adults buying these to display on shelves and maybe change their poses every month or two.

    So it looks like we have until at least March to preorder? Have they ever ended preorders early? I'll probably hold off until the new year...

    Have anyone seen more details about the GX-117 yet? Just wondering what the difference is with GX-105. I hope it's a bit bigger, the 105 is so small!

    I wish them luck, seems very ambitious though. I hope they don't need the KS money to complete the things people have already ordered. If they do make the Glaug, I'll get one but I'm not preordering it, I still haven't gotten my Pod preorder from BBTS yet. I hope they're not waiting for the figures to be made before shipping the pods to BBTS. Maybe I should cancel with BBTS and get the figure-less pod direct from KC's website?

    It's available for preorder on BBTS, but I don't believe they've shipped yet (at least mine hasn't.)

    It's beautiful every time I see it, but it just looks too different from the show to give me any nostalgic feelings.

    Good vid, hope BBTS ships mine soon! Gonna need some more people to start posting their posing ideas though, I think it's gonna be hard to come up with very many different looking stances without any arms. (I like the foot on the valkyrie pose Jenius!)

    Yeah, it was just a pricing error I found funny while refreshing the page trying to check out, I think the site was still recovering from crashing. I removed it from my cart and added it back and it was the correct USD 169.99 and that's the amount on the email receipt.

    With all the posts above complaining about no topcoat, I wonder if all the extra weathering will just rub off, lol.

    Wow, thanks very much for the pics, that is a lot smaller than I expected. Guess I’m getting a KC pod, maybe I can airbrush some kind of matte finish on it.

    Does anyone who got the KC pod have an Hi Metal regult too? I’m interested to see how they compare side-by-side. I know that the HMR is like six cm shorter? But it’s hard to picture that. Trying to decide which one I should get. I like the size of the KC so it would look ok next to my Arcadia Valkyries, but prefer the non-shiny finish of the HMR though I’d probably have to get some HMR Valkyries to display it with so the pod isn’t dwarfed.
