If you really want to get pedantic the I-men suffer from a common problem for smaller scale Ride-Armor/Cyclone toys, they all share the same body. That's fine and dandy for Scott and Rand, but Lancer has an entirely different chest and backpack sections, and Rook is entirely different again, not even using the same shoulder covers. And they all have the same gun, so Rook misses out on missile launcher and Lancer doesn't get his SAL-9 But there is no Rand Cyclone in I-men so no troubles with the lack of his pistol Cyc

That's my point. Animeigo and Madman could only use what Harmony Gold provided them. Yet these guys aren't hamstrung by the same rule. What's the difference? Cyc

You might have to describe the glitch better, and "jerky video" is such a vague term and I don't want to miss-understand That said, I've re-watched ep 16 and 19 and apart from some scenes bouncing up and down to a small degree, there isn't anything I'd call jerky or annoying. That said, Madman (officially) anounced they had the rights from Harmony Gold AFTER the ADV produced the "good" disc, so I can't confirm for you if the masters were at fault like ADV claimed or there was enough time for repaired masters to reach HG and then Madman. Especially interesting considering a certain logo we can see on the box... Cyc

Snapped up the Aus release of SC last month, definately very underrated. Bit give and take though, overrall superior show, but certain main characters are IMO much more scatter brained Cyc

I am such a loser I already have more than enough RT Alpha Superposables, so of course I go buy the Mospeada versions here. The 50% sale on all toys at EB didn't sway me, honest. And apart from having the Epoch tag over the Toynami insignia, there is a slight variation, the hands are half a shade darker than their RT counterparts. Their more grey instead of blue-gray. Back on topic, I want to believe the variation is minor such as stickers and what not, but the (IMO) large delay between versions seems to show it's not minor. Hopefully it's just an extra gunpod and a missile pod... Cyc

Bad news then, ADV couldn't get the rights to the original Spanish dub, so were forced to make a brand new Spanish track, so you won't be getting the original Spanish track you pine for. Cyc

I think that was a conscious design decision to improve visibility of the battroid. They should probably be thought of as invisible, not missing. IIRC that was the official answer aka to avoid clipping and graphics corruption with the point of the legs passing through the wings when ever you walked Cyc

Hinged at the bottom like the Gakken toy perhaps? I'm truly wondering how much a variation there will be, because the staggered release of the first 3000 and the remainder seems to scream "teaser, then jack up demand further". Cyc

Hmmm. The knee block does seem to be missing the hinged middle section cheat of the Imai kit that allowed that to fold up the legs. But even then the feet/ankle would still stick out more than the line-art. At least having the proper length "toe" will balance it out better than the Gakken/Imai transformable versions. Cyc

Well... what other Simpsons involves the towers to the same degree?

Gave away my Robotech DVD part two
Cyclone replied to Jin_Kune_Do's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Give free stuff away?!?! To anyone, let alone a child?!?!? Cyc -
You sure? 45 pounds works out to be around $90Aus $100US works out to be $150+ Aus I'm torn as I have the normal editions, and I knew full well when Reloaded was announced on DVD the full trilogy set news started up, but some of the extras sound interesting. Cyc

The World Trade Tower trailer frequently does the rounds on P2P networks if you really want it. I'm more interested in a certain Simpsons episode, though thanks to the snails pace of that series DVD release it won't be for awhile. Australian TV doesn't seem to care, with the episode being repeated like 4 times a year. No wonder the episodes have been burned into my brain

Already a single issue comic from Antartic Press, featuring MW member Greg Lane doing New Gen pencils. Cyc (who mumblers about it having some of the worst inking in existence while drinking a glass of water to hide the noise)

aka 1984. Palladium didn't invent the Shadow Fighter, they merely invented a VF-1 sized Shadow Fighter called the Vindicator based on a 2 second animators mistake and gave it the Dark Legioss/Shadow Fighter look, while making the Jagd/Shadow Drone the Shadow Fighter. And people wonder why this and the lack of Beta arm cannons made people mildly angry at PB Cyc
-
If I was pedantic, I'd point out Yellow/Lancer only took out Jagd/Shadow Drones, not actually piloted Dark Legioss/Shadow Fighters. Thank god I'm not At any rate, I see no problem with continued use of Shadow Fighters... as long as they don't extend it to everything (Shadow Cyclones! Shadow Destroids! Shadow SDF-5! Shadow VF-1!) and that it remains at the level of Mospeada/New Gen, just defeating sensors, not becoming an all-singing, all-dancing Star Trek style Cloaking System... Cyc

I'm lukewarm at best on this name. Not reducing my fears it won't end up a kiddie fest guys... Cyc

Considering Toynami will ream any retailer who does go lower...

Why were the Toynami Attack Mecha cancelled?
Cyclone replied to MyClone's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Yep. Official answer was there was mold issues, but most believe it was lack of demand. Toynami were looking for a line that could be produced for low outlay using pre-existing molds to cut down on development time, so if the molds needed work that could of made it less inticing to go ahead. Not to mention the rumored price was rather above the ebay asking price for the Playmates Exo-Squad/Harmony Gold 90's reissue, and the fact they're very common online too would have really killed it if they did choose to go ahead. To Those Looking for GAKKEN ALPHAS/LEGIOSS...

It did seem pretty strange timing if the re-issue/bootleg angle was true, and proved not to be Cyc -

Spider-Man 2 review! (spoiler free)
Cyclone replied to Zeta Otaku's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Now how are they going to do that When Arsefleck said he dont want to do Bang Bang Shoot Em up filcks no more!!!?!? Well, consider if you will how the Batman movie franchise stopped when Keaton didn't want to do a third film... Except it didn't... Any future Hulk movie would have the same problem, with Bana distinctly unimpressed in doing it again. Cyc -
VF-5000 Max Type would look interesting Cyc

*scratches head in bemusement* I've the R4 version of this DVD for 2+ years... Cyc
