Even though Graham's not in Yamato's back pocket anymore, Graham pulls through in getting us the latest and greatest in Yamato Macross news and developments! Sucks that Macross Zero is getting the cold shoulder from Yamato.

Returned to CN, "The Clone Wars" has, hmmm.

Figured it out! It was my Norton Ad and Popup blocker that was doing it. -

New episodes appear on CN's website the day after its broadcast. You're welcome Not yet! I tried viewing that page last night, but for some reason, I can not hardly view anything on Cartoon Network's website. I'm going to have to play with my security settings some more. I tried setting my privacy settings to their lowest, but that doesn't even work. Does anyone have any suggestions on why I can't view most of CN's content? -

Yikes! Didn't realize they started this week! Will they be rerunning episodes or airing them online anytime soon??? -
Up until the end of the episode, I thought the fake Air Force officer guy was going to hijack Air Force One when it landed; I just hope they don't use that F-5 sitting in that hangar as the "fighter" that will try to take out Air Force One! To my knowledge, any and all F-5's in the US Air Force have only ever been used in the Aggressor role. How many F-5's and T-38's are privately owned in the US? Since the Marines have been involved with Season 3 and 4, I wonder if they tried getting the Air Force to participate - then again, showing that Air Force officer in the midst of cheating on his wife and family probably would not have been viewed positively by the Air Force's public affairs office and thus the Air Force would have declined participation.

Speaking of Chloe. How the heck did she get to CTU so fast? Does she live in the one of the magicial CTU dorm rooms? That have special transporters that whisk them to headquarters in a blink of an eye. I noticed that too... she was like back at work right after one friggin' commercial break!

Okay, it's over two years out from now (it will be here before we know it!), but here's one bit of news to get this thread going: http://entertainment.tv.yahoo.com/entnews/...1154452000.html

The WWE and Pro-Wrestling Thread
Apollo Leader replied to areaseven's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
Yes, but that was during the time a certain "son-in-law" wasn't in charge of booking. Times have changed. You can't call the show RAW anymore; it's now The Triple-H Show. Also the WCW still existed back in 2000, so the competition between the WCW and the WWF/E further helped generate higher TV ratings (granted that the WCW was going down in flames). BTW, what is the current ratings for the WWE's main shows (Raw and Smackdown)? -
Star Wars Episode 3 Spoilers Thread
Apollo Leader replied to zeo-mare's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
The upcoming console game for Episode III seems to indicate that Anakin may use Force lightning in the movie. My guess is that when he becomes Vader, the lightning would probably wreck havoc on his mechanical body so he can't use it (or we just never see him use it). Witness Return of the Jedi when Vader is messed up by Palpatine even though his lightning wasn't directed at Vader. -
Star Wars Episode 3 Spoilers Thread
Apollo Leader replied to zeo-mare's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Palpatine/Sidious has been building up and manipulating Anakin all these years, so Anakin sees him as a father figure. Because of this, he doesn't see Palpatine as an enemy or threat. -
Granted that future manufacturing capabilities (new materials, power sources, engineering innovation, etc.) might make some sort of large bipedal mecha feasible, but of course the question would be that would it and COULD it serve a functional purpose as either something for performing labor or for combat use. Even if you could make something like a Scopedog or a Zaku work, then comes the question of wether the mecha should be man operated or controlled remotely... the forces and impacts some of these machines take as seen in some of these shows would turn the pilot into instant jello unless the cockpit had some sort of heavy shock resistence. What if the 30+ foot tall mech trips over... the pilot could possibly be taking a 30 foot fall! Just some food for thought.

Did anybody notice how this episode was a big suck up to the Arab/Muslim American community? This season WAS so awesome because it was deeply rooted in reality (as in Islamo Facist terrorist cells launching attacks on American soil), but of course now most of the baddies and almost all the violence and evil is being commited by WASPs (White Anglo Saxon Persons/Protestants) and even those in the defense industry... looks like Michael Moore is now on the 24 writing staff! I guess the 24 writing staff were all in a coma September 11, 2001... As usual, Hollywood has its head up its @$$ about what group of individuals who have committed the huge majority of terrorist attacks for the last 30 years world wide. Hollywood and the left are sure all about "tolerance" and pointing out those who are "intolerant", but oddly enough, they want to give the slack to the many thousands (if not millions), of extremist Muslims who want every Westerner (ie. American, European, Israeli, and Jew) D-E-A-D. Maybe 24 should be renamed The Sum of All Fears - The TV Series after the movie adaption of Tom Clancy's book. Oh well, at least there was lots of Michelle in this episode!

Mari Ijima at MW Con 5
Apollo Leader replied to Solscud007's topic in Conventions and Local Gatherings
I think there would be more of a danger of him ripping Mari in half like a phone book, just to prove how strong he is. Man, no love for the east coast. ... or the Midwest! -

I left St. Louis at 12:30, drove over to Illinois for about 30 minutes (I hadn't stepped foot in the state since 1993), and then began the 7 hour trip home. Because the weather here in the Midwest had been unseasonably warm, I ran into a thunderstorm near the Iowa/Missouri border... my main worry had been the possibility of winter weather! It was a great time and I hope to possibly attend a show like this again... perhaps Anime Expo someday? -

Before I left Kunicon to head home I ran into Scott McNeil one more time. Scott has been the voice actor on quite a few shows including playing the part of Duo Maxwell on Gundam Wing. The way he was dressed through out most of the weekend made me think that he was cosplaying as the Motor City Madman himself, Ted Nugent (he was usually wearing a cowboy hat and cutoff sleave shirts)! The guy was pretty energetic and was quite enthused to be there at the show amongst the fans. When I was up getting food at the buffet for the Robotech Dinner, he actually came up to me and striked up a conversation (I did tell him that I though he looked like a younger Ted Nugent ). -

Houquet's and Yellow's Legiosses. Note that Houquet's Legioss is still identified as an Alpha! Error aside, Toynami's Alpha/Legioss Poseables are among my favorite toys that Toynami has put out. -

Amongst the stuff that was up for grabs at Sunday's Robotech Panel was going to be these Mospeada brand, Legioss Superposeables! I wonder if any will be up for sale on robotech.com soon?... -

Just a stone throw across the Mississippi is Illinois... and river boat casinos! This reminds me of home back in Omaha... river boat casinos on the Council Bluffs side of the Missouri River! -

This was two pictures I stitched together. Over 600 feet tall, it's still an engineering wonder even today.
