Nick, put me down for 2 Larges!
-
the shirts weren't done yet. It should be done by next week or so. Nick posted up a new thread about it. Sweet! I haven't attended a single MWCON, but I have a shirt from every single one!
-
***SIGH*** wish I could have been there this year. There's a bunch of things I would have had Mari sign. BTW was it Solscud (Nick) that was selling the shirts? Were there any L's or XL's leftover?

Here is a post by the REAL MEMO (notice the "1" between MEMO and DOMINION): http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...pic=153&st=1040 Since everyone that "MEMO" was complaining about are mainly people who have gotton on MGREXX's bad side (ie. Skull Leader and Agent One), I would have to say that MGREXX is PROBABLY the instigator of this flame. I have personally met the real MEMO in person and have had the chance to talk to him on the phone before so I've known him for a while and the contents written by "MEMO" were out of character by the real man himself.

New Robotech Transformable Toy Coming...
Apollo Leader replied to VALKYRIE-EXCHANGE.COM's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
If, and I said IF, it is a Macross toy and NOT a Robotech toy, it will be an MPC DYRL VF-1. It is possible that it will have improvements or may be a new VF-1 sculpt from the ground up (this is a mix of conjecture and insider stuff ). Otherwise it's probably the Beta or a Cyclone. -

http://www.offuttairshow.com/AirShow/ Hope to see some of you guys here this year! -
[sarcasm] Your cup runneth over with intelligence. [/sarcasm] Congratulations on being the one totally sick fu(k who had to keep his video of people dying... a proud day for you and your family. Hey Richard, is Offutt doing an airshow this year? (most of the midwest shows have been cancelled), I may actually get up there for this one! I also have plans to attend NAS Oceana and watch VF-32 do the final Tomcat airshow demo http://www.offuttairshow.com/AirShow/ Hope you can make it this year!

I dont understand the cockpit on these two..is it "inside" that dark tunnel? If so wouldnt that be horrible visibility or do they mostly rely on cameras / video screens? THEY - ARE - UNMANNED!!! That's why there are no cockpits.

And here is a full scale of the current version of Boeing's X-47... I think it's the C model because I believe the B model was suppose to look like the A model which in term was based on Boeing's/McDonnell Douglas' "Brid of Prey". Note the JDAM hanging from the one weapon bay. Whoever wins, Jack Northrop's dream of flying wing aircraft still lives!
-
The future of US military air power was there, too! First of all, what I presume is a full scale mockup of Northrop's X-47B UCAV (I think the real deal is still being built). Notice how the leading edge center fuselage, and the air intake resemble a scaled down B-2.

While my sister and her family were still stationed at Langley AFB (my brother-in-law is a captain in the USAF), I was really hoping to get there to this year's airshow or one in the future so I could see the F/A-22 Raptor. Unfortunately, they are being sent to a base in Germany in about two weeks where they operate JUST F-16's and A-10's, so it looks like my plans won't come to fruition. But my sister and her family did get to the air show a few weeks ago (this was my one year old nephew's first air show!) and they finally sent me some pictures of what I missed. Starting with the Raptor! Unfortunately, the one on display was in a hangar, so it's not as good of pictures that my brother-in-law sent me a year ago December when an F/A-22 was visiting Langley as part of the 100th anniversary of the Wright Brother's flight at Kitty Hawk, but it's better then nothing. Anyway, here's Picture 1!

You caught me. Now that I read back through this, it does sound kind of spamish.

http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/05/24/news_6126435.html I just picked up my copy this evening. Not including Metal Slug Advance from a few months back, this is my first Metal Slug game since Metal Slug X for the PS1. I also have the Japanese Sega Saturn version of the original Metal Slug. Pick this one up before Sony changes its mind again!

Star Wars fans seriously burned by homemade lightsabers! Darth Vader robs Illinois theater! -
An awesome end to Day 4! So what loose ends still need to be taken care of? 1) Jack is "dead" to the world and now on the run. Who's body will they use to cover his "death"? Where will he go to? Would the family of the woman he was in love with down in Mexico (the wife of that one drug dealer) let him shack up with them or will he end up somewhere else? 2) What about the CTU agent the Chinese have in custody? No doubt they will make him chirp some more before he's released or killed. 3) Looks like Naked Mandy will be free to possibly cause trouble for Jack and the US at a future time (just like Nina). 4) And as kalvasflam pointed out, what about Behrooz? They took that tracker out of his scalp and nothing more was said. He may be brainwashed by his father's men to blame the US and CTU for his mom's death. So any other thoughts for possibilities for the next two Days (seasons)?

Revenge of the Sith ROCKED! (spoiler free)
Apollo Leader replied to 1st Border Red Devil's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
ROTS made $158.5 million from Thursday to Sunday breaking a whole number of records. I saw it twice on Thursday (including at midnight) so I'm glad to say I was part of making movie history. Since I saw TPM five times and AOTC three times, I wonder how many more times I should see this one? -
I will be seeing it at 12:01 tonight along with my father, my brother (who's getting off an hour early from his job), and one of my brother's friends. I took a vacation day off from work tomorrow so I could sleep in and so I can see the movie again at 4:00 in the afternoon at the same theater... I did about the same exact thing with Episode 1 six years ago.

OT: Video Games too expensive?
Apollo Leader replied to Tico0001's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
No one mentioned it, but the Genesis Virtua Racing and Phantasy Star IV retailed over a $100 back aound 1994/95. All things considering, it's been great that the retail price of CD and DVD games have been around consistantly $40 to $50 for a decade. -
The WWE and Pro-Wrestling Thread
Apollo Leader replied to areaseven's topic in Hall Of The Super Topics
I didn't watch it (wasn't home and I was recording 24 anyway), but RAW was here in Omaha last night at the Qwest Center. Earlier in the day, one of my co-workers went to the Gold's Gym on a 108th st. during lunch time and he saw Shawn Michaels, Kane, and the Undertaker working out there. -
Masterpiece Roy Fokker Pre Order?
Apollo Leader replied to Super168's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I did a little digging and this appears to be indeed a rerelease on Toynami's part. There might be more stuff coming (Macross/Macross Saga) coming soon.
