Are those super sylphs in the back 1/144 Or are they of different scale?

How long did it take to get the masking tape right? It's basically perfect.

How old is that kit? I've literally just built the same kit a couple days ago but mines from 2019 and didn't have the 754 decals. Also that build is of excellent quality.

That's unique, most trumpeter kits I've come across are incredibly expensive.

How did harmony get the rights? I really don't know that much about macross and just recently started showing interest so I only vaguely know the origin point of the designs.

Where did you find that type 1 cut out, I've been looking for JAM models apart from the sylph copy but obviously they don't exist officially.

It's so bizzare how the original designs for macross could create so many different knock offs and liscence trades that would lead to these designs becoming wholly detached and morphed from their original concepts and purpose

I really thought that was a mirage but it's a shenyang right?

I have another weathering related question, where is a good place to look for earth and foliage effects? an example being the bags or tubs full of moss or sand, my local games shop has what I'm looking for but the price is wack.

I know that you obviously have tools to make the exact changes you want but the craftsmanship seems to be perfect, it's pretty much fully symmetrical.

I really love the color palette especially the contrast between the green eye and the chest of the body, it makes your eyes drawn to the center and upper torso. Also what did you make the head peice out of?

I'm surprised your up this late as well. When you say to add a dull coat do you mean a light coat of matt/gloss clear or are you talking about a weathering finish?

What is the effect of chalk pastels compared to acrylics?

It's quite perfect as I have a mountain of apple barrel and cheap acrylics, I also found a artist briefcase lying around full of every water color pencil you could want or need. There also are oil pastel sticks and pads for dipping inside.

Hey, does anyone have experience with weathering? I'm not sure where to ask about this but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for cheap but effective weathering and detail.

Hi, I'm new to MW and I'm not sure if this is the right way to ask for help and ideas. I'm relatively new to modeling as I've completed only one kit, a 1/144 super sylph. I recently was given two gundam models of the same scale being a cyclase's Schwalbe custom and a amx-004 qubeley, I am thinking of kit bashing these two and also attempting to increase the quality of detail but I don't know how to do effective weathering effects and I also don't really know how to mold and fit parts of different purposes together. I have an airbrush and can do decently with it. If anyone has tips or processes for increasing detail on models i would be greatful. Thanks
