How fast is your printer?
-
Nice. I need to finish modelling a new fighter for my books and get my printers back up and running so I can print it and reprint some other models.

In love with this thing. Are you going to sell/release the STLs?
-
You just need a kiddie pool and traps for around the edges. Then some strings for the guy wires and plastic platter for the stage. Some forced perspective with a YF-19 and you can recreate an amazing scene.

I like the idea that "retired" Max collects Valkyries, like his own CAF. And, of course, he paints them all blue.

No idea if they are telling the truth or not. Their stuff definitely has flaws but is still pretty fun. Not sure what kind of "profit" they are making from their videos though.

Super Macross Mecha Fun Time Discussion Thread!

I'd say that given SDF's ability to operate in atmosphere, that the "decks" on the ARMDs and later Gitmos were primarily intended for usage as decks in atmo. They could also just be general landing markings for larger craft, like cargo transports, troop carriers, etc... There are likely airlocks and or elevators on or near those circles for the transfer or cargo and larger craft. Those angled lines might also be "Traditional" catapults for older VF-1s, and other larger or auxiliary craft. -
The 1:20 Gu-11, so tempting.

Modified 1:55, you can see the swing bars and other 1:55 details they tried to cover up. -

I wish all of these were actually in scale with each other instead of "box scale." At least all of the figures are in scale with each other. -

From a game or RC simulator, even more obvious in other clips.

I want to go to that warehouse.

OMFG that collection is amazing

I would still call it a win, depending on price, as I have never been able to find an actual Mac-7 VF-19F/S 1:65 that wasn't a kitbashed bootleg with VF-19 Kai parts.

*twiddles thumbs and whistles* Not saying I know people on the program who have said things, but... Not saying that I don't.

Yes, the P-8 carries Harpoons, but the primary role is that of a subhunter, and the operational flight profile would not be easily mistaken for that of an airliner, espeically since it primarily operates off the coast or in close proximity to battlegroups. An ALCM carrying 747/777/787 would, and utilizing them in such an offensive posture, paints a target on every other airliner out there, even if you are launching at 1000mile plus range. That is, again, due to the operational flight profile of the P-8 that is not the case there. The B-21 might seem underwhelming but we do not know much about it at this point, and it has been optimized for its new operational profile and 6th gen systems integration. Time will tell just what it can/will do.
