Whats Lying on your Workbench MK IV
The Original Cobywan replied to Urashiman's topic in The Workshop!
I've posted some stuff in the Fan Works section. I came back about two years ago when I left Facebook. ( I ended up going back to it last year.) -

I created that hinge upgrade kit decades ago. Sold the patterns shortly after. I wonder how many hands they've passed through over the years. That price isn't that far off of what I was asking back in the 20th century. -
Best 3D printer for Macross prints...

I wonder, are there any of the Formlab's resins that don't work with the new machine? -
How about an addendum instead? I can't handle getting another set.....

I'm really struggling with my render settings and setup. In an attempt to get a better sense of realism in the image I found a free Aircraft Carrier on Sketchfab to plant my model on. https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/ofs-kestrel-d40d8d249ed94cb5a7c5c48a668f5e6b p.s. The cockpit interior is by Pablo Roldan. Found for free online. I will me building a TV version for this when I feel good about the rest.

I'd wager they will start with a sportscar in Skull Leader livery.

Yeah. It's not a quick set of skills to pick up. I've been using Blender for 4 years now. I only just recently become confident enough to try this subject.

I haven't stopped working on this. It's just most of the progress I've made isn't anything that shows up in renders. I have come close to wrapping up the tail block/back pack.

I went ahead and collapsed the modifiers into a medium resolution mesh to play with rigging and bones. I feel like there are some proportion issues I should address soon.

I got super frustrated trying to sort out how the canopy shield can deploy during transformation. I decided to do something simpler and attach the aircraft to the ground in my renders. If I didn't decide to learn mechanical rigging it would have been easy as pie. but...... Ouch my brain hurts.
