Raikkonen replied to Stampeed Valkyrie's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
I totally forgot they already released it. They displayed them today and various sites are labelling as new from Kitzconcept, and I fell for it. Apologies.- 2451 replies

There's plenty of debate around the first film of how much was an illusion or if in essence, the Joker really only exists in Arthur's mind and that even Batman is an illusion. Regardless, that's the type of artsy poodoo I hate passionately in films.

Not paying to see another ambiguous film that wants us to think if it's real or was it all in his head.

The vast amount of yet to be released reveals creates this illusion. But it's common for Bandai to show numerous reveals at main events, where most eventually get forgotten in their deep freezer. Considering how their last releases sold out on Amazon Japan, there's nothing to worry, but we shouldn't expect more than a handful yearly pre-orders.

Well, in all fairness to them, considering it's only an amount below a third that are impacted, it's obvious there's something along the conveyor packing process that is bending the antenna unnoticed by human eyes. As @MKT pointed out, it's not from the bubble blister or during shipping. It's somewhere before the valk is placed into the blister and there's no supervisors in that single point. Albeit, hopefully now they'll place some to check all of them before the blister slips into the box.

There's some confusion with the release of this YF-23. Initial announcement was the Grey Ghost (The darker grey one) but they listed it as the Pav-2, which is the Pav-1. Now, it's the Black Widow (Lighter grey) which is correctly the Pav-2. Announcement: The pre-order: Was so hoping the darker grey would be the first release... Now there's the risk of double dipping...

Undoubtedly Bandai takes the Engineer's Darwin award this year. It's so fail. And the beefier legs are so not worth the compromise. The backpack and skinny arms are massive steps backwards.

The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread
Raikkonen replied to VT 1010's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
There's many variations of fear, terror, scary and etc, which also depends on what switch it hits on a individual bases. Aliens went for the terror of "No where to run" instead of the "No where to hide" like in Alien. In fact, Alien is closer to the haunting genre more than horror. As a kid, Aliens however for me for was more terrifying with the constant chasing and claustrophobic environment. As for the rest, undoubtedly there was medding from procedures with the usual coked up delusional expectations with yesterday's deadlines, but still doesn't change the fact that everyone was involved once the failures were baked. All from a directing, writing and producing level to blame. I get what you saying considering how the game unfolded, but IMO games shouldn't be official prequels/sequels to movies/series. Well, they're calling it a sequel to Alien and a prequel to Aliens, but... it really is a Alien re-imagining for a new audience. Scavenger crew boards another ship where they encounter a unknown species, and each are killed off except for the female protagonist. It's all there in the trailer. -

The Alien/Predator/Aliens vs. Predator Thread

This film is from a depleted Hollywood drudging along on fumes. The first film was a hit as it was the first grounded space horror where the audience only saw the originally designed alien at the end, and that mystery was already 70% of the ticket's sales. The second film worked as they multiplied the terror of the first filmed in a caged action film during the 80s peak of shoot and run films. The third... they tried so hard to be different in milking the cow that just dripped expired milk. Prometheus? Prequel? Reboot? Ego desperation? Writers on drugs? That finale where Charlize kept running straight all while the giant ship plummeted on her, was the perfect metaphor of this franchise's end. Covenant... Ridley's attempt to justify Prometheus's lore ended up as a limping zombie with no bite. And now this? A reimagining of the first film for the 'Tik Tok' generation... ??? Why??? We all know how the alien looks likes, how it's going to start, unfold, and how it's going to end. (PS, then there's the AVPs, B-grade fanservice.) -
When they add quotes of unknown "artsy films" inclined reviewers, they already know it's going to be DOA.
