    For me, it wasn't about patience, it just came down to being way cheaper than the domestic pre-order price.

    Those are mentioned in context of the grounded feel, like how is Zero, SDF and DYRL, where pop idols aren't the focal point, but instead one of the facets of a cube. Frontier introduced us to a whole new species, the Varja... you think that with the size of the galaxy that the Megaroad-1 won't have it's own encounters?

    I love this "1 just in case" 🤣 You reminded me of my friend I previously mentioned with the Low-vis... He's plan was to have 3 displayed in the different modes, and 2-3 mint sealed in boxes as an investment. He never got around to displaying them except for a few, as his place became a toy warehouse of factory cases still sealed. He eventually offloaded everything when Yammy reached it's peak.

    What are your plans for this new 0D? Just paint and decals, or other adjustments?

    I agree that due to the new licensing agreement, Bandai wants to expand it's merchandise worldwide through a new series, and not restrict it to Japan. But, I disagree there isn't a story to be told about Megaroad-01. So much can be shown to what they encountered while in the unknown to whatever struggles in living in that fold and eventually escaping it. And yes, Kawamori said their story is over, but everybody changes their mind. At the end, bar the license fence around DYRL, it can be anything... a prequel to Zero showing the early developments of a VF, straight to a sequel to Delta.

    And this is what I really want to know, which I know we won't, is that did they 3D scan a yammy, then designed their own mold around it... or someone came in possession of a Yammie mold copy? Of which if they did, then there's probability Arcadia would have to make new molds if they dare to venture down Vf-1 again?

    This was my turning point. Well, this, and discovering things I forgot about sealed in shipping boxes in my cardboard. I wish you the best, I know it's tough. Well, after getting my first ever HMR, the 0D last week, and even though the Gerwalk to plane transformation wasn't the best of experiences, I am considering of flogging my remaining Yammies bar one of the Focker low vis, as well my Evas, and perhaps focus on HMR, but only those on releases prices... no ways I'm tracking back to ebay pitfalls.

    I've watched a lot of Lego, Figma and Figuarts KO reviews for giggles, and most of them immediately complain about the smell upon opening them. It's to read you've found a substitutes as I know the mission of finding parts pack at good prices. I need DYRL Strike parts, but so hard to find at reasonable price, even second hand and willing to ship to Europe...
