There's a positive side to the lack of moving parts and features. Even Yamato can't screw up too much with the QC on a toy this simple. For once I'll get an item at its first release.
The thing I like most about Graham's post is the statement that it's gonna take a couple of years to get everthing released. I have a hard time keeping up as it is.
It seems to me that the VF-11B is a lot easier to develop than the YF-21. IMO the YF-21 uses a lot more anime magic.
I'll put my money on the VF-11B being released first.
I got it at HLJ.
The shipping costs a lot...a whole lot.
It doesn't have joints in the feet so it can't do a 'stair pose'.
It does however look like there's a real ED209 standing in the room when you look at it. The detailing is superb as well as the paintjob.
I recieved my ED209 today.
OMG...it's...it's...I'm...*faints*...
I'll let the crappy pics do the talking.
Posing with a 1/48 Roy, a VF-0A and a Revoltech Ingram 01 to show how Friggin' huge it is.
It doesn't fit in a Detolf display case. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
How will I keep this beast free of dust?
I think the colors shown in the pics are just prototype colors.
The Ghost will probably be the dark grey like in the Anime.
I can't believe that many people aren't as excited about this release as I am.
The YF-19 FAST packs/ Booster ruins the overall sleek look of the YF-19. IMO it actually makes the YF-19 look like a jet with a lightup dildo strapped to it's back. The Ghost makes the VF-0 look like a jet on steroids with an entire munitions depot attached.
