$1350 in little over one year...ouch. And then there's the SOC's, the PG's etc. etc. I'll be going back into denial now.

I pre-ordered the Shin/Ghost VF-0A. I like the Ghost so much that I don't want to take the gamble of waiting for a possible seperate Ghost release. Now I'm hoping for Yamato to start work on a reactive armor for the VF-0S so I can fit the three of them on one detolf shelf.

I agree, very nice display case. I have detolfs myself and IMO the biggest downside to the detolfs is that there's no room to put multiple valks in fighter mode next to each other.

If you do a little searching around online, you can find glass dildo's that look a lot like the Foldbooster for much less then $52. Took me five minutes to find something that looks very similar for only 20 bucks and they even make the strap-on versions so you can attach it to the YF-19. It even lets your wife/girlfriend share in the fun.

You couldn't resize it? What program do you use? Jay-Lew just offered to render the model from different angels. I already PM'd him with a request, you could do the same.

IMHO the VF-19F Excalibur is kind of a drag queen version of the YF-19... If any of the members here practice that special little hobby during the weekends, no offense meant.

you have to get really lucky with finding the right pics online to fit the renders into. I just do google image searches. Sometimes you open a site with a pic you like and there's even more and better pics on the site that google doesn't show. In this post I explained how I created these images. I have no control over the angle in which the camera looks at the VF-1. I search for a pic to use as a background and see if one of the renders will fit into it. I hope Jay-Lew will provide some pics of the VF-1 in flight with a pilot so it'll look a little more realistic.

If it's going to be a collector's item, I'm screwed. I panellined mine, which makes it worth...nothing. AAahhhh to hell with it, I love the color scheme and wouldn't sell it anyway. I wonder if Yamato will milk these molds as much as they are milking the 1/48's? If they do, they might end up doing a GBP.

Damn.. Looks like the box alone will cost 200 bucks.

So BoBe-Patt, what exactly do you collect? Or are you one of those rare people that collect collections?...

That's right, Graham mentioned he had pics of other prototypes from the past three years, including a very sleek one. Hey Graham, did you ask Yamato for permission yet to show us those pics? Just imagine, Graham knew about the YF-19 for years and was unable to tell us about it. I'd have a very hard time not letting my fellow collectors know about all the upcoming cool stuff if I were to know about such things.

Thanks Radovan! With Jason's model anything will look good though, you just need to find the right pics to place it in.

Knowing Yamato, they will only make it if they can make with perfect transformation. If that means it's going to look horrible next to the other 1/60's I'd rather they don't make it at all. Yamato have set the standard for these kind of toys. If a 1/60 YF-21 is going to be sub-par, I'll pass.
