  1. There you go. The 'spypic' is as big as I can make it.
  2. South Ataria Island Februari 2009; A squadron of unidentified fighterjets gets ready to take off at a UN airbase near ASS-1. Picture taken by unknown Photographer. I finally did a new afterburner effect for the takeoff pic. I think it looks a lot better than the first one on page 3. Any comments and suggestions are, of course, welcome. Please be gentle... BTW: I'm really looking forward to having some in-flight pics with pilots in the cockpit.
  3. And you call yourself a Microsoft Certified Professional? You should be ashamed!
  4. LOL! Hij misschien niet, maar ik wel.
  5. Very cool that you want a Macross tattoo, but you should keep in mind that a circle is quite hard to get right on some places of the body. It will almost never look circular because your skin stretches as you move if, for example, you put it on your upper arm. Just a little heads up.
  6. The VF-0 is more detailed, but if you can afford only one of these, I'm sure you don't want it to break whilst transforming it. The VF-1 is THE classic Macross toy and the 1/48 is the best rendition of the VF-1 design, althought some members here would argue that the 1/60's proportions are closer to the line art.
  7. WHAT?!?! SPEAK UP!!! I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!! For me it's the VF-0A although I haven't been collecting for very long.
  8. Only a two-seater release would get me to buy another 1/48. Well...that and any Minmay guard.
  9. I never would've guessed that uploading a new avatar could be so informative.
  10. They have an 'estimated shipping times' table on their site. HLJ sometimes chooses to ship EMS even though the customer requested SAL. They do this with packages that reach a certain value. From the HLJ site
  11. When it writes the file, Windows runs out of space and searches for space to write the next part of the file right? So how does Windows know where, on the hard drive, to look for the other part of the fragmented file? The first part of the file won't tell it where to find the second will it?
  12. Aaahh! Now you got me all curious. My PC mostly tells me I don't need to defrag yet, so I just don't bother.
  13. There's more info and pics of this model at the Fine Art Models page. I wish he'd make a 250 LM...

I'm sure Japanese people have feelings too.
  15. There are, but none of them are green. The FP as seen on sci70716's pics are customs. Yamato released a Stealth FP set shortly after the release of the Stealth VF-1J
  16. At the risk of sounding stupid, how do I clean out my cache? I use Firefox btw.

You really think Yamato will have a possible fix ready in time for the Shin release?
  18. In the What Issues Would You..., Like Graham To Take Up With Yamato? thread there's been quite some arguing about wether or not Yamato should panelline their Valks. Some think they should so we don't have to do it ourselfs. Orthers thinks that Yamato will just makes them too thick. So, what do you think? Panel lines or not? *edit* Voted No panellines myself. Yamato makes to thick IMO, just look at the 1/72's
  19. I'm going to start a poll about panellining. There's been a lot of debating about whether or not Yamato should panelline their products.
  20. For that I would need: a pilot model for Jay-Lew to put in the cockpit a pic to fit the VF-1A model into a render made at the right angle from Jay-Lew to fit into that pic Here you go. I made the VF a little smaller to make it's size more realistic. I looked awfully big in the first versions. Enjoy.
  21. I guess Yamato will include an extra piece to support the backpack like they did with the 1/48 FAST packs.
  22. Sure. The original is 2000 px wide so how big would you like it? I just made myself a wallpaper of 1280x800 px. Here it is.
  23. I made a little change to the first image. I forgot to add the effect of the heat of the jets just behind de VF and I tweaked the lighting of the VF a bit. Also, I'm not really content with the second image. It doesn't look real, so 'll be redoing the afterburner effect.
  24. pssst...It's a VF-1A. You might want to edit your post before getting yourself lynched... They're a bit anal about that kind of stuff around these here parts
