I always get my Valks from HLJ. Never had any problems. They are slow to ship but reliable.

I've made the nose, rockets and wheels a little darker on both images. Now I'm ready to move on to something new. How are those in flight renders coming along? j/k Take your time Jason. I really appreciate you taking the time to do these renders so we can have all this Photoshop fun.

I remember someone posting a pic of a display case with a Yamato stand hanging from the side grasping the FAST packs of a 1/48. IIRC the stand was connected to the Valk's FAST packs using screws. It looked neat, but I would never drill holes through my toys for display purposes.

A couple of years ago I had the chance to get a display case from an acquaintance that worked at an electronics store. They were refurnishing the store and were getting new store display cabinets. It had 1 cm thick glass and was about 1.5 m wide and 2 m high. I didn't collect toys back then and it was heavy as hell and much too big to drag up two flights of stairs so I passed and let my father in law have it. Every time I see that display cabinet I feel like kicking myself...

The more I look at that YF-19/VF-4 crossover, the more I'm convinced that the drugs finally got to Kawamori's brain and he lost the ability to think creatively. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with the YF-19 or the VF-4, they're both classics, but this mix of those two designs is just too obvious. Couldn't he have put in a little more effort and come up with something original?

Considering MW has over 3600 members I would like to know how many of us completed the survey. Even if we average every MW member as having only one 1/48, which is quite a low estimate IMO, we'd be well over what this survey would suggest we own. Yamato, MW is a force to be reckoned with!

Does it really matter if it's the Stealth VF-1J version? The standard Hikaru Super VF-1J has the same form. The only diiference is the color and that has no influence on the scanning procedure.

Graham, Is it possible that you do an interview with Yamato and post it up on the site like you did a couple of years ago?

IIRC the armor on VF's is made of technology found in ASS-1, but it could also be that it's made of A-MAG material.

I have Gundam markers and Sajura pens and I find that with a Gundam marker any mistakes are more easily removed.

Good idea for a custom! It looks best in battroid mode IMO.
