If Yamato does the Reactive Armor there's gonna lots of people that will have trouble attaching the armor to their busted shoulders. Maybe they could include replacement shoulder parts in the package.

I've browsed through the whole model section of the mainpage but I could only find some instruction scans and finished model pics. The only Macross book I own is the Tenjin Hidetaka artbook. I anyone could scan any pages from the other books I'd be really gratefull.

Are you planning to mod the 19 to make it a two-seater? Don't bother, Yamato will release a second seat with the FAST pack Booster set. They'll even put in a Yang newman figure in there for ya.

Graham, In your meeting with Yamato, did you get any info on whether or not the Ghost that comes with Shin's VF-0A will have the white sensordome that can be put on top of it?

You do know that Yamato already did the Garland right? I'll put my money on the SDF-1. It's from a popular 80's anime, there's a series and a movie, and it would be a fitting release for the 25th anniversary. EDIT* Put in a link to the Garland toy for your convenience.

There was a thread about yellowing of plastic on Valks some time ago. Isn't it mainly caused by UV? My Valks are in a room with closed blinds most of the time. Hope it helps fight the yellowing a bit.

Wasn't the VF-0S supposed to be re-issued late last year?

I have: 3 1/48's 1 GBP 1 Fast packs set 2 VF-0's No breakages, no stress marks, nothing. Althought I should add that I don't play with any of them and have only transformed each of them once or twice.

I guess they must've learnt some valuable lessons from every new toy they make. IIRC it took them three years to develop the YF-19. They must've gained quite a lot of experience during the process. I just hope the SV-51 too fragile to make into a toy.

Tha kit bash looks great but I hope Yamato will make the seams a little more narrow. Knowing that Yamato took several years to develop the YF-19 the joints had BETTER be tight. They plan to release the SV-51 sometime during mid 2007 which means in four to five months production will begin. That means they have very little time to tweak the resin prototype, make the molds, create a pre-production prototype, test it, tweak the molds, make another prototype, test it to make sure everything's ok and finally, start production. I hope they won't need to cut any corners in order to get it on the market in time.

Well, I just checked my VF-0A. Both shoulders are fine but I'm never transforming her again. Didn't check my 0S. I would need to transform it out of fightermode to see if everthing was allright and I might break it in the process. When I get the Shin 0A/ booster set I plan on displaying the 0S in Gerwalk so I'll check it then. Anyone else think that maybe the shoulderjoints snap when you take off the armor to see if it's okay?

Anyone else think this will be the first Yammie to be over $200?

Damn, am I glad I waited for a second release. Now, when I order it, I'll get the FAST packed YF-19 and my gf get's a little something to play with while I'm drooling over the Valk.

I hope it'll have a matt finish. IMO that always looks best on black surfaces. Let's hope it's going to be something like the flexistands so we can have a little variation in our poses. There's absolutely no need for the battroid the click onto a stand, the flexistands have no trouble at all holding a Valk in place. And please make it using a clear plastic! I'd really like the boosters to be included in the package for the Nora variant. I can't wait to pose a Nora SV-51 with boosters alongside Shin's VF-0A with the Ghostbooster. BTW: I'm NOT waiting for a second issue with this one. I WANT IT YESTERDAY!!!!
