  1. BUMP! So, I was wondering if you had found a place to host the FS2004 model yet? I just got a hold of FS2004 at a discount price and would like to fly the beauty around a bit.
  2. "dark golden bronze-grey" Sounds like one of those colors you'd put on a pimped out car. It looks to me like it's a copper-ish color.
  3. That's what I'm hoping for too. I need some enemy mecha badly, but the blue one doesn't have a Max figure and the red one is Fugly (note the capitalt F)
  4. It would, and I would have to buy one, but it would also be HUGE and about $100.000.000! LOL!!!11
  5. Nice job! Looks like your VF needs some enemy mecha to shoot at.
  6. There's a fourth mode on the SV-51!?! I thought it was just Fighter, Gaerwalk and battroid.
  7. Yeah, where did you get the money to hire ILM just for a youtube film? Can't wait to see the sequel!
  8. Nice setup Valhary! Even a Valk needs personal space.

I wanted a toy that doesn't break when I look at it the wrong way, I didn't get it though. I have over $300 in VF-0's sitting in my display cabinet and I'm affraid to transform them cause they might fall apart into little pieces. My guess is they'll charge us between 5 and 10 USD for a set of replacement shoulders.(+shipping)

Graham, Do you know if Yamato will charge us for the replacement parts?

Great to hear that Yamato are finally going to do something about the issue. My VF-0S and A are still in good shape, but I'll sure order some replacement parts from HLJ to have as back up. Also glad to hear that the Shin/booster combo will have the POM shoulderparts.
  12. Oooowh, me like! I'll be sure to order a set of the 19 and the VF-0 stickers when I get my 19 and Shin/booster combo.
  13. I like it, but the main body could use some more detail. Looks great nonetheless!
  14. Great pics Dana! Thanks for posting them.
  15. That was already apparent from the pics released a couple of days ago.
  16. That's what I find weird about it. If they're gonna release it in may, shouldn't it be up for pre-order already?
  17. May?!? I need to get some cash, that's when the Shin/booster is released which I pre-ordered. You're talking about the YF-19/booster combo right. I'm going with the 19/booster combo because, that way, I'll be sure to get a second production run version of the 19 which might have some fixes. Don't actually care for the booster or the FAST packs.

    What scale Destroids?

No thanks. [rant] If Yamato are gonna have a go at Destroids they'd better be at the same level of detail as the recent 1/60 releases. And because they won't be able to transform, they would need a LOT of articulation, preferably as much as the Revoltechs. ... ... Oh, and there need to be two packed in a box. ... Except the 1/60 Monster. That would be the only Yamato Macross toy that deserves a large box. ... Not an oversized box, a large one. ... Nobody likes an oversized box. [/rant]
  19. Looks like the Hasegawa has smaller tailfins than the official CGI and the Yamato is closer to it in that respect. It also looks like the Hasegawa has a longer fuselage where the heatshield and head are, again the Yamato follows the CGI more closely.
  20. So Kicker, are you going to try to fit all those big fat GBP's in one Detolf? If they don't fit, just send me a couple, I've got two Detolfs with some shelves to spare.
  21. I'm sure that if that was a PG VF-0 it would be feature perfect transformation, not three different knee caps for different poses. Not that I would mind being able to buy a PG Valk of any kind.

    Graham's Sig

If that were true, who would Geoffrey be? a Yamato intern? I believe Graham this time. I really think the sig is just for fun. So Graham, can you tell us what your sig meant yet? I, for one, am still very curious.
  23. Isn't that supposed to be strapped to the back of the YF-19? Thanks for the new comparison pic Vic. Looks like Kawamori placed the cockpit a little further towards tha back of the plane in the line art. In the screenshot the cockpit canopy looks gold. F-16's also have that. I hpe Yamato give the cockpit canopy a gold effect too. It'd look great with the black very dark grey.
  24. So you are Dutch! Wow, four confirmed Dutch Macross fans on the boards! Who would have thought it possible. Most of my friends never even heard of Robotech. Whenever I mention Macross all I get is blank stares like LOL! My parents didn't buy me any Transformers either. They made me choose between Star Wars and Transformers and I chose the first. IMO LEGO is the best kind of toy for kids because it stimulates the creative process and teaches them to solve problems while having fun. When/if I have kids I'll definitely buy them LEGO. If only it wasn't so damned expensive! EDIT* Aplogies for taking the thread of topic, please continue.
