All of my Yamato's are in perfect condition, inlcuding my VF-0A and VF-0S. The moment they all fall apart I'll contact you so we can b!tich about it to each other. Where to begin; Better sculpt. (IMO you can't beat the 1/48 fighter mode. It's spot on) More detail. Bigger (is better ) Sturdier. Less die-cast (is less paint chipping) Landing gear that doesn't fold in when you look at it the wrong way. Did I mention the sculpt? The only down side to the 1/48's is the fact that they're not in scale with the other Valks Yamato has released.

But could the jet engines still work after being flooded?

I can't disagree with you that Yamato's prices are getting out of hand, BUT...the SV-51 will not have less accessories than the 1/48 M&M Valk. The SV-51 will have; - Very big S-51, according to Graham it'll be Yamato's largest Valk to date. - Booster/missile packs, granted, there won't be any openable hatches or anything, but they're still accessories. - Gun pod (has there ever been a release that doesn't have a gun pod?) - Huge display stand that'll be able to hold the SV-51 in all modes. - The SV-51 has a much more complex transformation than the VF-1, which means a lot more moving parts etc. (It also means it'll probably be a lot more fragile...)

I hd the exacct same idea, although the VF-0A and SV-51 might not fit into a detolf together. Actualy, the SV-51 mgiht not fitt into a detolf b y itself. *EDIT* Sorrry abot the spelling. Damn this nice weather. Bear and wine don't go together very welll.

I voted 'All of them' Isn't that what the 'Variable' is all about? If I had to choose a fighter based on looks I'd go with the FRX-00 Mave Yukikaze. If I had to choose a robot based on looks I'd go with the EVA's. The VF looks great in all modes, that's what makes it special.

Although I didn't get the 1D conversion kit and I wouldn't buy these either (because of a complete lack of modeling skills), I voted Yay just for the sake of being able to drool over pics of other peoples kits.
