  1. My experience is that when HLJ says it'll be released in july, it'll be released around the end of july or beginning of august.

    Tomahawk

Looks great! Nice to see something other than the usual SDF's and VF's. What program did you use to make it?
  3. It is anime accurate. Yamato probably just used a CF and painted some white stripes on it for the promo pics.
  4. I'm a little worried after seeing the sixth pic. If Yamato hasn't arranged for some kind of locking mechanism for the nose cone, I'm pretty sure it'll get loose after a certain number of transformations. I also hope that the wings can hold all the weight of the missiles and boosters.
  5. How is that a fact? Yamato can't sell Macross products to non Japanese buyers because of HG. The Garland shoulder issue is a prime example of how Yamato helped their customers by providing them with replacement parts. If it weren't for HG, I'm sure they would do the same for their Macross products.
  6. I'm anjoying this like a good scrumptious pie. Anyone else think kamjin deserves a custom title?
  7. Same here, both work fine. Just delete your cookies and try again.
  8. Looks like you had lots of fun doing those pics Ruskii. Now I want a Q-rau...
  9. Anyone playing the Darkness? I love this game even though it has some shortcomings. The need to shoot all the lights in an area in order to make use of the Darkness powers becomes a little bothersome after a while and Jackie could walk a bit faster, but those are minor issues IMO. The graphics are great and the sound is even better. The developers really put a lot of effort into the sound of the game. All this attention to the sounds in the game really pay off. For example: When you talk to a person, that persons' movements are corresponding with what he/she says instead of just random movements done by the programmers to make the conversation look realistic. Details like this really let the player get more immersed in the game. The game has a decent storyline with a nice little twist every now and then, don't expect anything like The Godfather though, it's still (just) a shooter. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet, maybe I'll try it this weekend. For anyone looking for a game to buy for the kids, don't bother because it has lots and lots of blood 'n gore and even more cussing.
  10. I managed to break a piece of Lego once...
  11. At least you guys can see the pics that Swoosh posts. All I get is a small white square with a little red cross. Using IE7 at work, at home using Firefox they show up just fine.
  12. Very nice collection you have there rdenham! I wish I had a display case wide enough to pose several VF's next to each other.
  13. Stickers arrived a couple of days ago. Thanks Erick! Now I really can't wait to get my YF-19.
  14. so Graham, could you post a little video of the FB in action? I just got my shipping notice from HLJ, so I'll finaly see a YF-19 in the flesh in a couple of weeks!
  15. Same here. A Minmey Guard release would convince me to buy another 1/48 but that's about it. Too bad Yamato aren't doing a two seater though, I'd jump on those.
  16. Wow! They really outdid themselfs this time. eyes... hurting... need to ..tear them...out.

    VF-0S

The second version of the VF-0S hasn't been released yet so there's no way to tell. You might want to wait with ordering untill you're sure that the reissue has beter shoulders though.
  18. Pointy ears are fine, but the ears on the sketches are pointy and pointing outward instead of up. I think that's why they look like elf's ears.
  19. I'm having some trouble imagining an actuall can of a$$holes on a good day, got any pics?
  20. Looking at the scans provided by Graham, those numbers and emblems are tampo printed. If they were stickers, the edges would be visible. These emblems are not positioned over seperating parts, like the kite was on the YF-19, so tampo printing should not be a problem IMO.
  21. I'm with you. At this point my head is so far down in the sand that it's getting hard to breathe. Like I stated many times before, I put my toys in a pose in my display case and almost never touch them again. As long as they can hold a pose and don't fall apart while doing it, I'm not worried. *knocks on wood*
