No thanks, the more scale consistency the better. a 1/48 VF-11 would look totally out of place next to the 1/60 YF-19 and YF-21.

The Ace Combat 6 demo is only about 300 mb so it shouldn't take too long to download. I already played it. Great game with absolutely stunning graphics, especially from high alt. looking down. You forget all about the photorealisitic visuals once you're in the middle of a dogfight though. Very hectic.

QC isn't really much of an issue with the 1/48 line anymore, so it all comes down to individual taste. Personaly, I like the V-1S Focker and the CF the best, and I don't actually dislike any of the paintscheme, but Hikaru's VF-1A would be on the bottom of my to get list.

The previous stand alone Ghost appeared in the anime for a split second acting as a UAV drone. This grey Ghost is just a booster that can be put on the back of any VF-0, so now you can buy Ghost boosters for all your VF-0's you allready owned.

a seperate grey Shin type Ghost would be the perfect release for those of us unwilling to get another VF-0S. I for one, wouldn't mind having a grey Ghost for both my VF-0S and my VF-0A/Shin without having to buy another VF-0S.

It was mighty nice of Yamato to replace your YF-19 but shouldn't HLJ have done that in the first place? They sold you the defective item, not Yamato. When I buy a tv at an electronics store and it breaks down within the waranty, I go to the store and they take care of it. They don't say: "We don't have those particular parts to fix it, go take it up with the manufacturer"

Nah, they probably just used an old VF-0S they had lying around to do the promo shots. They did the same for the VF-0A/Ghost promo pics. If you look closely at those pics, you'll see it's not Shin's VF-0A but a regular CF with some white stripes painted on.

Me too, because that would mean a toy with perfect transformation (if that's even possible with the amount of anime magic the YF-21 uses) near perfect sculpt (might not go together with the above) all the extra's like FP, Ghost etc. tight joints for those dramatic poses and most important...NO QC ISSUES!!!11 Come to think of it, the above list applies to all Macross toys

I think Yamato will have a hard time making the YF-21 in such a way that it'll have perfect transformation and look half decent, but I sure hope they do. BTW; Could you post a pic of the fold booster on the cart? I didn't know it comes with the FB/FP package.

Sounds like your YF-19's stressmarks were created during the assembly process in the factory. Maybe Yamato should start looking for a different factory to make their toys for them. Damn, I hope my YF-19 is going to be ok when it gets here. EDIT* spelling
