  1. I had the same problem when I did the banner for the main site. IIRC Graham wanted it to be two words.
  2. I made a couple of banners using a VF-1 fuselage theme. Let me know what you guys think. Maybe I'll make a couple more tomorrow using a different theme. Any ideas are welcome of course.
  3. I'm pretty sure the 1/48 VF-1 is the first Valk they produced using a CAD based design. Anyone, please correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. I don't want to be nitpicky, but they're using DYRL? FAST packs on a TV Valk, just look at the arms.
  5. Ooow! Me like! If they produce more than just the VF-1J, I might get me a couple.
  6. Full F-22 demo. This thing can pull off some amazing stuff. Sorry if this has been posted before.
  7. Thank for the effort Hurin! I think it looks great, exept for the banner, which is a bit bland IMHumbleO. Maybe we can do a banner designing contest. I'm sure there are plenty of Photoshop talents on the board that would like to have go at creating a banner.
  8. Forgive my ignorance, but what does 'Kai' mean?
  9. So if I applied the weathering stuff and only occasionally handled it to transform it, lets say twice a year, i'd be fine? Up to now, I used a gundam marker and smeared it a bit, but it doesn't look good enough.
  10. I have a noob question. If I wanted to use that Tamiya weathering stuff on a toy, would I need to spray a clearcoat over it to protect it?
  11. Don't feel bad, it's not the size that matter's, it's what you do with it that counts. Jokes aside, ca. 40 cm's sound like the same size as the box the used for the stand alone Ghost, which is reasonably compact.
  12. When on its landing gear, my VF-0S bends down at that same point making it look like it can't support its own weight. Maybe I just mistransformed it or something. It doesn't matter anyway, as it'll stay in Gerwalk mode until Yamato release a Reactive Armor.
  13. I was pleasantly surpized to find that the box for the YF-19/ FB combo was just a standard 1/48 size box instead of an XL size VF-0A/Ghost combo size.
  14. Don't forget the X-9 Ghost. The YF-21 needs something to fight.
  15. Don't forget about the broken back syndrome in fighter mode when standing on its landing gear.
  16. Amazing work once again and I second HWR MKII's remark about getting the launch vehicle, I'd love to see you do your magic on that. Now, where's my jaw, I know I dropped it here somewhere?
  17. I just got my YF-19 with FB/FP and I immediately transformed it to check if anything is wrong with. Here's a list all the thing that I found wrong with it. There's a little stressmark on one of the two parts where the screw goes through behind the cockpit. ... ... uhmmm, that's it actually. Oh yeah, it's absolutely beautiful.
  18. So what if the toy sits on the shelf for a year in some toystore and the batteries start to leak? Besides, batteries lose power even when they're not used, so you might end up paying for a couple of batteries that work for only two weeks.
  19. The metallic paint does looks a bit better on the YF-19 than I imagined, but still...meh.
