  1. Scanning the two images separately would be better but, like Sketchley said, be sure to have plenty of overlap and scan them straight with the side of the scanning glass. Im looking forward to trying this and I'll do my very best, but I'm by no means a pro and I've never done coloring work on line art, so if anyone else want to have a go, please be my guest.
  2. I did and I still don't get it...
  3. Those are some damn nice pics!
  4. I'd love to have go at this pic, but it looks like the part in the middle was scanned out of focus in some way and I lack the skills to correct it.
  5. Agreed, it's still a toy. Maybe, somewhere in the near future through some freak accident, titanium prices will drop to a normal level so Yamato will be able to use it in their toys.
  6. IMO all the highlighted parts can be done in 1/72 with todays production technics and materials. Things like the retractable neck cover are bonusses but unnecasery. *ducks for thrown rocks* And yes, the 1/72 yf-19 was a POS compared to the 1/60.
  7. Well, in answer to that, I'd ask you to be a little more specific. What improvements were made possible thanks to the bigger size of the toy?
  8. I wouldn't turn it down either, but I want my V-11 to be in scale with my other Mac+ toys damnit! I want to see the difference in the actual plane's size's when I display these toys. That's why I got some old 1/60 VF-1's, to put next to my 1/60 VF's. Why wouldn't Yamato be able to improve on the 1/72 VF-11? They did it with the 19 didn't they? IMO the 1/60 YF-19 is a mojar step forward from the 1/72 version. I see no reason why Yamato won't do the same with the YF-21 and the VF-11. I'm sure Graham can confirm that the 1/60 YF-21 is a considerably better toy than the 1/72 YF-21. (he probably can't because Yamato would send a couple of ninja's to tie him up and kill him with their bouncy boobies if he did)
  9. Delay? Good, gives me time to save up some more. Any word on whether Nora's SV-51 will still be released in october?
  10. *Comes home from AA meeting, checks thread, sees Graham's post... *grabs beer...
  11. Ooh, that looks much better than than the red and green one. I might have to get me one of those.
  12. I made some pics but you beat me to it eugimon. As you can see in the pic, I didn't have the kneejoint rotated all the way out. It looks a lot better now. Thanks guys!
  13. Hey everyone, I've got a bit of a problem. See this pic? Just look at that pose, sexy aint it? I'm trying to accomplish this pose with my VF-0S but I can't seem to get it right. I can't get the nose down further than in the pic below. I suspect that the problem is with the joints just behind the intakes. I can't get it to go forward any further without breaking the leg off. In the promotional pic it looks like it's almost perpendicular to the intake, but mine won't go any futher than about 120 degrees. Thanks in advance!
  14. We're actually pretty nice guys once you get to know us, but we can do the flaming too, if you're into that kind of thing.
  15. The wings on a 1/60 VF are 2-3 mm thick and they're made up of two pieces of plastic that are glued together. There would hardly be enough space to put anything inbetween those two pieces of plastic. Maybe if Yamato made the wings edges out of the same material as the feathers on Bandai's PG Wing Zero Custom?...
  16. Depends on whether they're Yamato's or not. Welcome to MW sqidd, looks like you'll be able to show us a huge collection pretty soon.
  17. Doesn't really show anything about the actual movie except that it has boobies, and nice ones at that.
  18. seconded. There's only one little detail that bothers me a bit. The yellow striping is located above the weathering which looks a bit odd. Other than that, beautiful models.
  19. That's where VF's are born, didn't you know that? j/k great two screen wallpaper Wrongster.
  20. Hey mods! Could ya'll try an' help this guy out? Where's hungering for some updates here.
  21. At least you can see an image. I'm not seeing anything. Also, look too the left and you'll see my avatar. It's not a scene from the show converted to gif or anything, but it has Macross stuff and it's animated. EDIT* a couple of days ago I removed the black background to make it blend with the site a little better.
  22. It does give them a lot of paintscheme/moldmilking possibilities. Maybe they just can't get it because the license owner doesn't want all Macross licenses at one single toy manufacturer.
