That would bring it down to the level of shows like Transformers and Gundam. The fact the Macross is a mecha anime that isn't just about the mechs is what makes it special.

Boosters would sag the wings on any toy plane, or any real plane for that matter, they're big and heavy. I don't think Yamato could have made them any lighter than they are and the wings are too thin to incorparate some sort of support system into them. Missiles stay on fine on mine, they're just a little hard to click into place. Once transformed to battroid, the upper legs can be pushed into the hips to make them more tight. Standing shouldn't be a problem after that. The landing bay doors are fine on mine. The shoulder design is, indeed, very complex and scary to transform.

Great work on that pose there ruskiiVFaussie! Makes me want do a dramatic pose with my YF-19 too, it's just that I like it too much in fighter mode.

I do feel sorry for ya sqidd. I have the same problem almost every time I order a toy. Example: On a wednesday, the tracking site shows that the package is due for delivery the next day. The next day, I'm at work and when I get home there's a little form from the delivery guy that he'll be back the next day (friday), which of course I am at work again. Friday night I get home from work and find another one of those stupid messages that he was at my door again and that I can pick it up the next monday. That's five day's after the initial delivery attempt damnit! I don't blame them for me not being home, it's just frustrating to know that that beautiful mech toy is just a few miles away but I can't get to it. :(

I first noticed Yamato's Valk while browsing through the toys section of the main page. Compared to the VF toys from the other companies the Yamato's were by far the best representations of VF's. If Yamato's weren't around I probably would have forgotten about MW in a couple of weeks and not collect Macross toys or any other toys for that matter.

This is going to be fun... Sometimes I wish Agent One was still around.

I'm not worried about the hands not looking right. I'll permanently have it in fighter mode with boosters attached chasing Shin's VF-0A with the Ghost booster.
