If you'll look closely, you'll see that it doesn't even have engines, note the lack of exhausts. ::EDIT:: And if I'm not mistaken, the wing next to it is of an F-4 Phantom. Another golden oldie.

So you really think Yamato will just let you walk away after the YF-21? Well think again my friend because after the 21 there will be the VF-11 and your 21 will desperatly need some canon fodders to shoot out of the display case. You won't be able to resist I tell ya! I've been trying to figure it out for half an hour now but I still don't understand how the transformation of the arms work. The fore arms are at the rear behind the wings and the biceps aren't nearly as long as the wings. So how do they attach to the intakes that are in front of the wings?

For me HLJ is fine. Slow but steady.

Here's a pic for ya! The gunpod has a bit of that nostalgic style in it don't ya think? Also, the feet look a little small but it gives it that feminine Q-Rau feel. I wonder how they got the "landing gear" to fit in there? j/k

You've got my vote, although I don't think of it as a step backwards as the limbs aren't made to be removable for the transformation process but more as a gimmick. I gimmick I personally couldn't care less about.
