  1. HLJ will have Bandai's Chogokin Aquarion toy back in stock in februari and I was wondering if it's worth getting? At just over 120 euro's ($173.54) I thinks it's pretty expensive and it doesn't exaclty look like it's the sturdiest toy ever built. So, who here owns one and if you do, would you recommend it or should I stay away and spend my money on boring stuff like food and my mortgage? Thanks in advance!
  2. Wow! When I first looked at that pic I didn't realize it was a 1/48 instead of a Revoltech. That's what I call striking a pose!
  3. Actually, the current line of 1/60 VF's are already much bigger than the old 1/60 VF-1's with the SV-51 being twice as big as the 1/60 VF-1. That would make a 1/60 Regult smaller than the SV-51.
  4. Nice work there Fysioguy! I love the color on that Foldbooster.
  5. I actually found Nora to be a little too tight when I used her for the first time, so now I spit on her before transforming. You guys should try it too sometime, it really helps. Am I taking it a step too far again? Sorry.
  6. So when's the normal Danboard due to be released? Can't find it at HLJ and I want to wait untill it's available before I order a couple of Revoltech's.
  7. LOL! We could have spinoffs like Hingtgen: New York, and Hingtgen: Miami with David talking about airplanes in a NY accent or while driving a big ol' Hummer. ::EDIT:: Yeah, I'm a bigger tard than you...
  8. David, Please tell me you looked those numbers up in a book?... If not, you should find yourself a job in the model kit industry.
  9. I just pre-ordered too. Can't wait to get this.
  10. Thanks guys. IMO Nora's SV-51 is Yamato's best release to date. I have yet to find anything wrong with it.
  11. Here's a couple of pics. As you can see, the wingjoints can easily support the added weight of the boosters and missiles. This girl is tight I tell ya! She's big too. She just barely fits into my Detolf. Shin feels like he's being watched...
  12. The missiles on my Ivanov are fine. They stay on just as good if not better than the ones on my Nora.
  13. $250!? Looking at the size of the box, it'll cost a extra 100 bucks to ship over here. I think I'll pass.
  14. Ah thanks eugimon. And ouch indeed. I'm glad I only collect the canon stuff so I'll just get one of these.
  15. Frenchy?! FRENCHY?!?! Who are you calling FRENCHY you kangaroo eating-upsidedown living Aussie you! I'll have you know that I'm a proud citizen of the small but mighty Kingdom of the Netherlands! BTW. I was able to pick up my Nora SV-51 yesterday and she's a beauty! This thing is tight as [insert dirty reference here]. I have her posed with all missiles and boosters attached and wings folded like in the OVA and they're holding up just fine. I might post some pics later if I feel like it. I'm a bit hung over at the moment.
  16. That thing could take on my ED209. It's huge! Where'd you get it? I want one.
  17. All the detail really gives a good sense of scale. Beautiful!
  18. Is that the official name for the fuel bomb? Daisy Cutter? I love that name!
  19. I'm pretty certain it was said in this here thread but I, for one, am not about to read through all 66 pages of it... Maybe Darth Maharg can shed some light? please?
  20. Mine'll be delivered tomorrow, but I'll be at work then... They'll try to deliver it again on friday but I'll be in Germany then... I can't pick it up on saterday either meaning I won't be able to pick it up at the post office untill monday... That's FIVE DAYS FROM NOW!!! and in the meanimte it's just laying on a shelf at the post office only a couple of miles from here... So close, yet so far away...
