  1. I couldn't agree more! I have three 1/48's and a 1/48 GBP and I'm perfectly content with them. I'll probably just get the essentials in the new 1/60 line, which will be Roy's 1S/strike, Hikaru 1J with the GBP maybe, Elintseeker, Ostrich, 1D and a CF. And maybe one more like a Max or Millia 1J, whatever. But only if the new line will be $90-100 or less. :::EDIT::: But if they're gonna be around 60 bucks, I'll get each and every one of 'em. But we all know that won't happen.
  2. Just ignore the rude americans Ruskii. I think it's very...uuuuuuhm...original? It's just not something everyone would want in their living room. I'm talking about the colorful feathers of course, but my GF would be ok with the feathers in the living room but not with the valks.
  3. Looks like an old SV-51 design to me, but I'd need to check my books to be sure. Looks nice though.
  4. Both my 51's are fine and this is the first time I've read about this issue. Did you push the third nosegear door down into the bay like shown on the photo? (red arrow pointing down)
  5. That's purty. Too bad it only exists in the CG world though.
  6. I noticed this too. I think it has something to do with not putting enough characters into to the search bar. For example, instead of typing YF-19, try Yamato YF-19. It'll come up with some results that way.
  7. Well I'm really curious how the transformation on the Aquarion works so that's a big part of why I want one of these. The fact that it comes with a stand changes things. I Think I'll pre-order it. If I change my mind, I'll just cancel it. s_i_t_h_l_o_r_d, The pics, your sig links to, also helped! Thanks guys!
  8. Looks like the launch arms haven't changed a bit in all those years, whatever timeline you're in.
  9. Thanks for the info Sam. Looks like 'll have to pass. I want my toys to be able to do poses and if this one can't do any cool poses than it's not for me.
  10. Finally found the time to watch it and I love it! I can just imagine the peeps over at Robotech.com watching this and going: Macross gets this and we wait all those years and get Shadow Chronicles?
  11. I, for one, hope it will be. That looks way better than the black version.
  12. True, but that made it one the of the greatest levels in gaming history IMO. It's heavily scripted, but you don't notice it.
  13. There's a strap in the CAD drawing so chances are we'll get it on the toy.
  14. I guess this proves once and for all that Yamato is seriously committed to the 1/60th scale and the upcoming VF-11 won't be 1/48.
  15. For those of you that played the "All Ghillied up" mission in Call of Duty 4. The real Prypiat. The town where the Chernobyl accident occured in '86. ::EDIT:: spelling.
  16. Depending on the price, I might have to get all of these new 1/60's. I'm glad I wasn't around yet when Yamato did the first line of 1/60's.
  17. Graham, Can you tell us when these are going to be released? And thanks for the scans!
  18. In my defense; I started this thread before the 1/60 VF-1 news came. I've always liked the complex transformation of the Aquarion mechs and would like to own a toy, but this thing just looks a little like a cheap toy even at the price its at.
  19. Looks great! I'm glad I pre-ordered. I wonder how big this toy will be?
  20. Can anyone please translate the text in the article? I would like to know what features this thing'll have? Will it be perfect transformation, including heatshield? Will the kneecaps be able to move? etc. etc. The kneecaps look nice though don't they, kinda like Hasegawa kneecaps. If they do a complete line up, I might have to sell two of my three 1/48's.
