I never really liked the 19 in gerwalk. The empty space between the wings just looks... off. I guess I only need to get 2 then, one for fighter mode on a display stand and one for battroid mode. And one for fighter mode with the wheels out and the canopy open... and one for fighter mode with FAST packs... and one in a different color scheme. damn...

Very ambisious project. Can't wait to see prorgress pics.

Well, here are some pics with the exellent VF-1a model Jay-Lew made. Two of them where posted in Jay's original CG thread. I did a little touchup work on them and thought I'd post them here too. The third one I just finished. Enjoy!

Make panel lining and/or weathering, like it was done on the LV 1, standard procedure.

Have to be strong and refrain from ordering VF-0S...Must be strong...

I need to get me one of those 1/60 VF-1's to display next to my upcoming 1/60 collection. Can't have a 1/60 VF-0a and 19 standing next to my 1/48's That would look silly.

Sephiroth, you might want to check a few pages back in this thread.

I'd like it at about twice the size of a 1/48 in battroid mode with lots and lots of detail. Don't know what scale that makes it and I know it'll be expensive, but i'll just have to make choices and/ or save up.

If... no WHEN Yamato make a YF-21 they'd better make a stealth version. It's based on the Northop F-23 so it's supposed to look stealthy anyway.
