  1. LOVE the pink hair and eyes! Looks awesome!
  2. Dude.... NICE!!!
  3. Are you ready to wait till June or even July to see how "Battlestar Galactica" ends? Aaron Douglas, who plays Galen Tyrol on the series, just told DragonCon attendees he’s heard that fans may not see a new episode till April of next year, according to the fan site Galactica SitRep. This contradicts comments made at July’s TCA event by SciFi exec David Howe, who said Laura Roslin, the Adamas and their Cylon friends were slated to return in January. The news also suggests that the Cylon-centric flashback TV-movie scripted by Jane Espenson may hit SciFi before the final 10 regular episodes do.
  4. Guld went balls out and put it all on the line!
  5. I pray this movie NEVER gets made.

    Second Life

Between reality and Battlefield 2142, I have no time.
  7. Not as bad as I was told. The "Sky Guy" and "Snips" names are LAME! That Starship Troopers lame-o voice over/intro in the beginning was pathetic. I guess they thought the usual scroll over was too hard to read for the kids.
  8. The chick who sat next to me was hammered. I laughed as hard as she did!
  9. Love that poster as well as the Cast! This is looking better and better. Just re-watched MI:III the other day and it was even better than I remembered. I have faith in JJ Abrams. I think this will kick ass!!! Cool car in that pic at good ol' CSUN. Haven't been around that campus in a while. Good background for the Academy.
  10. Seeing that we are in the middle of our Galactica dead season, I thought I'd share this. JUST a coincidence? Hmmmm... I was doing some research on Blackwater (labeled as America's Private Army in Iraq) and found this on Wikipedia. Notice at the bottom of the article the Senator's name is "Adame" and that Blackwater has a global web-site under the title "Greystone". Names (or close names) of the lead character's in the upcoming series "Caprica". Food for thought. Enjoy. In January 2008, Marshall Adame, a Democrat running for Congress in North Carolina's 3rd District, took part in a live question-and-answer forum where he was asked a question about Blackwater. Adame, who had served as a State Department official in Iraq recounted, "I saw them shoot people, I saw them crash into cars while I was their passenger. There was absolutely no reason, no provocation whatsoever." He then stated, "There is no place in the American force structure, or in American culture for mercenaries, they are guns for hire; No more, no less."[citation needed] This led Blackwater executive vice president Bill Mathews to send an internal corporate email to staff: Blackwater's "Greystone" (international division) website: http://www.greystone-ltd.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackwater_USA
  11. As far as "and they have a plan" Things change in life... even for TV shows.
  12. Out of curiosity... What did he fire at your hard drive, and what did you fire at him. (Gun)? I have a Smith and Wesson 9mm that I just got, and I may buy a shotgun for home protection too.
  13. Simi's not so bad. It certainly could be worse. Then again, we used to call it Slimey Valley. I was there a few months ago and checked out the "Poltergeist" house. Still looks cool.
  14. Damn... Katee Sackhoff looked hotter than Tricia Helfer!!!
  15. I'd LOVE to see one DYRL, or Mac Plus style!
  16. Check out Ventura County. Cities like Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Camarillo. NICE areas that are withing driving distance of all the LA amenities but without the LA bull$hit. Ya better make bank though. I moved outta there in '95 for work reasons and I wish I could afford to move back. I'm in Oregon now and considering moving to Vegas in the next 4 years. Yes... I'm sick of the rain here.
  17. SWEET! I got a 50" 1080p Plasma!
  18. Is Blue Ray designated and compatible by region the same way regular DVD's are? I just bought a Blue Ray yesterday and I'd love to get Frontier if it will work.
  19. I read this a while back from somewhere. "Visual of Japan has announced (PDF format) that it will release the ongoing Macross Frontier robot anime television series on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc starting on July 25. Bandai Visual of Japan has announced (PDF format) that it will release the ongoing Macross Frontier robot anime television series on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc starting on July 25. It also confirmed that the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 sequel series will also be released on both formats starting on August 22. The first volume of Macross Frontier on Blu-ray and DVD will contain the first episode in two versions: the preview "Deculture Edition" that aired last December, and a new complete "Yakku Deculture Edition" that will run 32 minutes. The initial pressings will also contain goods that celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fictional Nyan-Nyan Chinese restaurant chain. All pressings will come with 16 pages of liner notes and an audio commentary. The Blu-ray version will have a Linear PCM stereo soundtrack and 16:9-aspect-ratio, 1080p-resolution video. The eight remaining volumes will be released monthly starting in September. Macross Frontier marks the 25th anniversary of this science-fiction romance classic." Anyone know where I can get it on regular N America region DVD format?
  20. Think about it. The 1st one is a skin job. This scares the creators. They make 'em like toasters and enslave 'em. Cylons rebel. In their genetic make up is the key to the skin jobs. Only the general public never see nor know of the 1st skin job. Makes sense to me.
  21. Looks like we'll be short on any Galactica action for a while.
  22. YF-19 all the way!!!
  23. News from Galactica Sitrep: Tuesday, July 01, 2008 Even More TV Movie News Hi folks...I'm fresh back from my lovely Maine vacation and had to post some updated info from Sitrep sources regarding the first BATTLESTAR GALACTICA TV Movie. The first of a possible three films is now in development. The studio has reportedly offered a deal to Dean Stockwell, and is interested in making deals with Michael Trucco, Aaron Douglas, Grace Park, Michael Hogan and Katee Sackhoff, among others, for this film. Jane Espenson will write the script, and as we said recently, Edward James Olmos will be directing.
  24. “I just heard about the first Battlestar movie being greenlit,” Grace Park tells the Los Angeles Times in a story dated June 28. “It's supposed to start in August.” The August start assumes that the Screen Actors Guild is not on strike at the time. The guild’s contract with the Association of Motion Picture and Television Producers expires Monday. The movie is widely expected to be, like last year’s “Razor” TV-movie, set before the events of next year’s “Battlestar Galactica” series finale. Many expect the movie could air on SciFi this autumn, before the next year's final 11 hours of the regular series. As many as three new “Galactica” movies have reportedly been discussed. Principal photography on the series finale, hitting the SciFi Channel next year, was expected to be completed before the SAG contract expires. “There's one episode where everything is explained and I had to read it three times,” Park told the Times. “I had to sit down with [executive producer] Ron Moore and he had to break it down.” Park apparently let the news slip while promoting her role in another cable series, “The Cleaner,” which premieres July 15.
  25. Knock off... no. More like rip off hack job!!!
