I really envy those who are still trying to catch up with the series. I watched it week to week and it felt like torture waiting in between seasons! Now you get to see them at your leisure! I'll say this to ya... your in for one helluva ride!!!

38 yrs old. I've loved Macross since I was a kid. But to set the record straight. I cannot watch: The Original Series due to the lesser animation and designs of DYRL. That's like trying to watch the OLD Buck Rogers after seeing Star Wars! Macross 2-NO interest. Mac 7-NO interest. LOVE: DYRL Mac Plus Mac Zero Mac Frontier-although I don't dig the character designs as much as the others listed.

The minute it gets over 70 degrees in the Pac NW everyone rolls up the car windows and cranks the AC!!! I bailed outta there to escape the doom and gloom and get more than 60 days of sunshine per year. Anyways... AWESOME JOB HIKURO! Looking forward to more.

My dismal collection grew after Comic Con. New is the VF-0S, VF-25 and the Revoltech YF-19.

Just bought it and watched it today. Great DVD! Very well done. Stoltz and Morales are superb, but the one that plays Zoe steals the show! Yes there is a centurion in this premiere. Can't wait for the series!
