  1. Thank you guys for your comments! No one special, but in general I have Sherwin Williams. I just go to an automotive painting workshop, and I give them a little amount of the color that I need and they make the mix until equal my color. I always ask glossy colors, this make my work easier, especially with decals and metalizers. Once applied the decals, I apply a flat coat. Actually, I only use enamels as color reference, or applications in very small areas. I'm saving a lot of time and money using automotive acrylic paints... you just need to be careful with your health, using mask and air extractors. But may be you could get automotive paints of the new generation, water solubles...
  2. Wow man, they look great!! You overcome my expectations! Just tell me when I have to pay!
  3. I presume that the PE parts will be sold separately? Anyway, lloks great!!
  4. I have Mike's v1 Monster too, but I'd like to see a Wave version, an industrial and plastic version can be plenty of details, and it's cheaper too.
  5. Hi guys, I want to share with you my lastest kit: the VF-0S Battroid from Hasegawa. It's painted with acrylic lacques. Metallic finishing were made with Alclad II paints, "steel" color. In the last picture you can see other kits in 1/72, for reference. The "Fast Pack" leg parts are removable, I put a rare earth magnet in each leg, and a nut in the Fast Pack. So at least!! I'll have the 100% of my hobby time to work in the Gnerl... stay tuned for WIP updates!!
  6. If we could enlarge that kit to 1/72...
  7. Great news!! that Legioss looks faaaaar better than anyone see it before. I want it!! And I cross my fingers to see a Tread kit, and fighters would be great too.
  8. This is great!! May be I'll buy one to make the "blue version", I still keep the optional head from the Captain's kit. Few days ago I saw the Wave's Tomahawk and I love the boxart.
  9. Same here, I didn't see this thread until now. I really love the finishing, this kit looks perfect to me, great colors, details, and smooth weathering. Congratulations!
  10. I don't know how I missed this thread, but anyway, congratulations!! Superb result, and great pictures! (I downloaded all of them!)
  11. But Cap, if you make the other ships, the nupetiet-vergnitzs is a must be! We can use 2 bases to hold it if it's necessary... all that I know is that I REALLY want that ship in my shelf.
  12. 1/2500? That should be very expensive...
  13. I didn't receive mine yet...
  14. Such a BEAUTIFUL ship!! I love it! Cap, you are the best!!
  15. Looks great!!
  16. Youre right! These kits are a nightmare!! But yours results very well, congratulations!!
  17. May be for some vehicles you should consider make them with a cavity in the cockpit area, that way we could be able to recreate glasses with clear plastic sheets. This will have a far better look than a solid piece with painted windows.
  18. Thanks Yeti, I'll take the complete set in 1/72, also I hope to see 1/48 versions in the near future.
  19. I'm just curious about the differences between lineart of Masterfile book and the carrier that appears in the show.
  20. Definitively, gunpod carrier don't appear in Perfect Memory, This is Animation or Macross Journal Extra VF-1 Valkyrie. The only one is that Lobizon post it. But here is a capture:
  21. When I post the Limo lineart I tried to find the gun pod carrier in the Perfect Memory book but I didn't found it. I'll search again.
  22. John, I'm very amazed about the result of this sculpt. As you said before, that scene in chapter 36 is very contradictory with lineart. But you resolve the problem masterfully!!
  23. Pictures doesn't help too much, but yes, they looks great! And considering that these are very tiny vehicles, and in 1/100 scale... wow! I'm very interested in 1/72 and 1/48 copies. Just put the price!!
  24. Bad thing, I were expecting the SDF-1 in Cruiser mode
