  1. It's kind of hard to tell with the elint, but the Super O looks better than I could possibly have imagined. I can't wait to get one!
  2. Well, whadda ya know, there was one right in front of me.... The 1/48 is hard to measure, but as much as I can tell, it's quite close to 11.5 in from nose to folded wingtip you said the outer shoulder, you mean the part where it attatches to the fuselage or the outside of the unfolded "shoulderpad" itself from shoulderpad to pad, it's 5' 3/8" fuselage itself is 3' 3/4" lower leg is just about 4' 1/4"
  3. As soon as I can dig up a coherent ruler (don't even ask), i'll measure one up.
  4. FYI...Since you are in the U.S. like moi, you can skip the hardware stores and check in K-Mart or even your local grocery store. Little bit cheaper that way....Hope this helps! Melissa Not necessarily. I'm in LA, and I had to go to a hardware store for mine.
  5. I have to say again, that flanker scheme is sweet! Anyway, my real question, what program were these done in?
  6. Well, the biggest problem with printing decals is actually the printer itself. Normal printers can't print white, so they can't make a white decal, and have trouble with light colors. You need a Dye Sublimation printer, which has white ink. The most well known are Alps brand, but I don't think they are made anymore. I know sony makes some photo printers that are dye-sub, though.
  7. That would be awesome! Are you just trying to up your post count? I look at the toy forum, and every single post has Last Post by Commander McBride Graham is right, you are a forum junky! If this newest destroid has wheels, I wouldn't mind seeing it as one of those remote control laser tag type toys, or like those BB firing M1A1's from Tokyo-Marui. Lol. Well, I used to post a lot on gundam.com, but since it went down, I have trouble resisting the urge to post. Besides, I signed on today and saw that Abombz!! was ahead of me, and I cant let that happen. Also, I talk a lot in real life, and my posting comes form that. Plus, I have nothing better to do. The other thing is that I come on late, so I reply to everything from the past day, but people are asleep, so I don't get replies. Hey, and when did graham say I was a forum junky? are people talking behind my back?
  8. Cool! I have an incentive to keep up my posting pace!
  9. I hate to say it, but that paint is most likely designed for airbrushes. I'd say that's why you're having so much trouble.
  10. *drool*........ You know, looking at the kind of jagged line on the nose, it's actually not too far from what you sometimes see on real planes. It's very similar to how the plane I was around for the painting of came out.
  11. Just a quick update: Thanks to a tip from Toonz, I finally found a local hardware store that sells FUTURE Floor Finish by Johnson & Son. The only "problem" I had was that it was sold in an industrial quantity tub - nearly 2 liters worth! Basically, FUTURE is an acrylic based floor sealant. You slop it on a cleaned floor and it gives a protective coat and long lasting shine. Folks seriously into scale modelling have long been using it as a "clear coat" over their painted kits for a beautiful finish. Apparently, it works real good on the 1/60 Valk's dull canopies too. I cleaned the canopies of grease and dirt, and dipped them into a bowl of FUTURE solution. It helps if you wait a while for the liquid to settle so that there aren't any tiny bubbles to spoil the coat on the canopies. Toonz recommends using a tweezer to fish them out, but I just used my fingers and left them on a piece of paper to dry. According to the container, it takes about 20-30 minutes for it to dry. Modellers usually leave it alone for a few hours for best effect. The results are pretty amazing! The dull canopies are now almost crystal clear! You can actually see the pilot figure clearly now... Very cool! Ah, so you finally found it! I love the result of the stuff. I need to use it again, though, it's worn off, due t being handled so much, I think. dipping can be this fun Wha?
  12. That would be awesome!
  13. I just have to say, that 02 has a really dynamic sculpt!
  14. Exactly. That's what's keeping me from having any. However, gundamofficial.com shows the new AEs, as well as the real shockers, MSiA FA Gundam and Gundam mk. III!!!!
  15. I found it quite interesting, even if only looking at the pics. It's nice to see what mecha will make it into the game.
  16. Man, a sequel? I still haven't gotten the second DVD of the first series.
  17. Hey, I was stupid no tto do all these replies to quotes in one reply. can someone delete this post....
  18. That's not a machine gun, that's an automaticly activaded anti-missile gun. Wait...it actually does something? I had no idea, no one ever manages to get their missiles off at me.... I've had that happen 3 times, but there still seems to be a shortage of parts. I'd say there are only twice as many now. The controls are fully customizable.... I'm personally a big fan of Missile Boats. But I'm absolutely horrible at mecha design, I guess. I've failed half of the missions I've played!
  19. *Bang* Might as well add my ammo to the pile..... *Holsters P226*
  20. I don't know much about various VFs , some look nice while some don't. I would also like to like see model kits for the SDF-2 or Megaroad (Flashback). Model kits will just be fine. Resin kits are just more expensive though I bought a resin for the Macross Battle. I don't believe they have made a model kit for the Battle 7 or even the city. Talking about ships, I do have a question regarding the Megaroad (Flashback). Are those "glass" between the ship's "skeletons"? I know the city is located in the front part of the ship but what is encapsulating the city? If it is glass, wouldn't it be easy for the enemies to destroy the city? It's transparent aluminium!
  21. I knida like the bizarre schemes. So much more interesting than the monotony of DYRL.
  22. Cause they are t3h r0x0r! And sooo kawaii!
