Yamamto does not sell or has ever sold Robotech figures, but I know what you mean. I actually work across the street from their office and I talk to them often at toy events and I have become friends with some of the staff as well. All I can tell you is they do their best and when they see their is a problem with QC issues they do try to address them, maybe not to everybody's' satisfaction but they do what they can. Unfortunately they can not help buyers outside of Japan directly, which is not their fault.

Is that the Bandai 1/100 kit which is was watered down interpretation the actual line art. This might help make it more clear.

The SAP is all Zentradi in shape and color, plus it also has the three assist laser pods that fly around the VF-2SS when the SAP used.

Macross II merged both human and Zent technology from fighters, battleships to how the cities were rebuild. The VF-2SS is both technologies merged together since two races lived decades together and both military forces would be merged into one. Makes perfect sense that the SAP does not cosmetically match the Valk. Raise all the points you want against the series you want, most of us would buy the VF-2SS, some of us more than two. Seems like most of the negative design remakes are all based off a 90's Bandai model kit, and not the actual line art.

I see them as being different because the first movie is the starting point, the second movie got an inch further then dived to the realm of stupidity far surpassing Bad Boys II and even The Island. Even though I don't like the bot designs they do look cool in action but after the forest battle I was ready to call it a day. Yeah I watched some of the First movie last nigh when I got home, the only improvement story wise in the Second one was Prime did get his @$$ kicked by just Megatron.

My only expectation going into any movie is to be entertained. Star Trek did that perfectly Terminator Salvation was decent enough to keep me entertained but Revenge of the Fallen was painful to sit through. It would make an awesome silent movie.

I thought the first movie was decent for a summer flix. I have a review at my friends site.

Just saw Revenge of the Fallen! It was worse than Superman Returns. I didn't mind the first movie but this movie was horrible.

Ahhhhhhhh wolfx, You might want to re-read that quoted email it does not say "VF-1S Roy hands are out of production". What you posted tells me it very possible they will eventually come in. Plus you say hands and they are saying arms so which is it?

I come form Earth where Anime is Science Fiction so anything is possible like balancing a dinner plate on a Valks head. If you don't want one I'll take two servings of VF-2SS on that plate and be back for thirds. VF-2SS you are sexy with or with out your SAP!!! Well Ishtar is sexier and being in the worse Macross anime story wise still does not change how much I want Mac II stuff.

Keep expecting then. $100- not as much. (Yamatos 1/60 are under that price I don't think the list of complaints would be any less. $50-next to nothing. (If you haven't already picked up a 1/100 Bandai Valk I would love to hear next to nothing but I don't think that will happen either. If you want something $50-$60 dollars cheaper they should have just reissued the old Gakken Ride Armors, since they had the obvious best head sculpts of them all. Really Beagle asked you for a list, they contacted you then hell they owe you the world. Last I checked a fellow Japanese fan and myself ask if we could supply a list of suggestion from those who actually bought the Stick. They said sure go for it, they never said what they would do with our lists. Being realistic which is hard to do these days in simple terms Lei was already in the oven while that list was being gathered. Also no company is going to go back to the drawing board for the one release that will most likely sell the lowest amount of units. Rei was to far in the development stage for any thing all ready laid out to be changed. Last I checked we were all human. My post was mostly concerning the head sculpt and the fact that Beagle is a toy company that makes CM's look like Bandai. I think I'm done trying to help both sides.

You guys sure expect allot from a company that as of last year was working out of an apartment unit. If you want a perfect head sculpt ask Good Smile but they are not in the transforming toy market so you can't have your cake and eat it too. Regardless of the cost these companies are not getting rich off you, the license holder make the most out of the deal, not the toy company that will eventually go bankrupt due to collectors holding out for when the price drops because they didn't buy it in the first place which will lead up to killing the line of toys sooner than later.

I've been trying to download this Podcast for like two weeks it keeps dropping out. Not sure why I usually have no problem. Got 15min into it before it cut off. Maybe it because I'm in Japan.

I'm guessing Over-Drive will pre-order sell them individually like they did the Macross F Ichiban Kuji stuff, not sure if they will but I will find out. Must resist I've lasted this long while working in Akihabara.

I've done everything in my power to resist Lucy Star now this. Unless you pre-order these they will be next to impossible to get that is for sure.

Here is a pic of the address. Finally got around to taking pic of both kits. Nope it is not a modified version of the Hobby Base Repttu kit. None of the parts are even close to the same size. The G-port kit head is almost twice as large as the HK kit so not only is it not puttied it is also not recasted since it is twice as small. The leg parts are not even close to being exactly the same either the HK kit legs are larger and fat. The Hobby Base Repttu kit's fins are also not made of white metal only the feet are made of metal the rest of the kit is resin.

Yeah let's hope for the improvements. Edit: Just watched the first episode it should at least have the black and white markings.

I listened to his post cast and one thing is for sure the face of Robotech first needs to learn how to pronounce Mospeada. Doug Bendo pronounces it Moor Sir Pedia, there is no R sound in either the Japanese or English pronunciation. ﾓｽﾋﾟｰﾀﾞ Mosupi(E)da. Robotech and Crack don't mix.
