  1. Has anyone shipped SAL from Japan to the USA? I had a Jungle order and they gave me that option so I chose it to catch a break on the shipping costs. I wasn't in a super hurry to get it so taking a little longer was fine with me. Does anyone know the current approximate time it takes with that option?
  2. Nice! I always love the darker color schemes. Stealth, low vis, the cavaliers. Any grey in any tone always appeals to me as well.
  3. Ok cool, I wanted it to be darker so that works out good. Thanks @vladykins
  4. Are some of those customs? I have a Yamato 1/60 VF-1S low viz coming and I wasn't sure which one of yours is the same one. I'm just wanting to see how the colors look in different lighting.
  5. Crap! I'm only just seeing the messages now. Thanks for the heads up @borgified, much appreciated!
  6. That's a great story! Glad you were able to be reunited! A great looking Valkyrie
  7. I paid $55 plus the shipping. It was from a member on here.
  8. I've been reading about the frustration of transforming that one. I guess Battroid isn't so bad. I think it's the head design that I don't like. I hope you're right and they come out with some cool new designs. Though hopefully not too many I'm still trying to catch up with older releases!
  9. My Haul from the last couple of weeks. Brown box is a sealed VF-31A Kairos. YF-29 Full Set was sealed as well. VF-31C was a display only item so it's like new. HiMetal R was also sealed. Got pretty good deals for the most part.
  10. ^^This. I love the fighter mode of this Valk. Not crazy about the Battroid mode though.
  11. Damn right. It's one thing to make a second version with minimal changes but to make a third? That's just being greedy. If it's like everyone has been saying, if releases have been coming slow from them lately the least they could do is release something completely new. Like a Max VF-1S or something cool like that.
  12. Awesome! I would appreciate that.
  13. Because flippers need to be able to make a living. By paying normal MSRP prices we'd be taking food right out of their mouths
  14. @Mac Here's the link the the DX YF-30 Chronos thread:
  15. Now we know why we don't see them as often on the secondary market. @Kicker773 bought them all
  16. I'll just be patient and wait for a good deal to come along. They periodically turn up so I'm not that worried I won't be able to get one. DHL isn't the only shipping available anymore either now that things are starting to loosen up.
  17. This thread is probably the most comprehensive one you'll find for where most of us are finding our stuff. At the top of the first page you'll find a nice list.
  18. I prefer Hikaru's red and black but the first one that I always visualize is Roy's scheme.
  19. Nice score. I'll eventually get that one myself. Still others I want to hunt down first.
  20. There's apparently potential for any white Valkyrie to yellow. Doesn't matter who the manufacturer is or what model. Sealed boxes that yellowed were probably exposed to high temperatures or dampness etc. If you can find a seller that stored them properly you're probably ok.
  21. True, I was just speaking of the Valk itself sans accessories
  22. Good to here they have held up. I definitely want to get a stealth VF-1J with the super packs set. That's one I regret selling. I'll probably get the low vis vf-1a too. I miss that one as well.
  23. Question for you 1/48 collectors. How have your Valk's been holding up after all these years? Yamato was really the only one who made them in that scale correct? I had a bunch years ago but had to sell them because of adult stuff. Thought about maybe getting one or two that I still miss.
  24. You can also probably get the DX's a little cheaper than the PF Arcadia's. Depending on which one you want of course
  25. Same here. I do my best to get the best price I can. Sometimes I get a good deal, sometimes I overpay a little but in the end I get what I want and usually the overpay is negligible.
