  1. I suppose Ultra Q would be folded into Figuarts, so I hope if we don't actually get a Showa (Atragon, not DAM) Manda, that we may get a Kairyu. Maybe they could do one side of the box as Manda, and the other side as Kairyu! 😆
  2. What kind of markup is he now referring to?
  3. I went in on the strike pack as I felt it made sense at the time. I even subsequently got the clear strike part covers off AliExpress. Those didn't come in Valkyrie Factory boxes but just a sealed pouch in bubblewrap. They fit perfectly, though. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804906223652.html

Are there limits, though? I plan on going, but I wondered about that.

I actually wish they went green. Kakizaki everything. 😄
  6. That went fast. OOS now. Not even available for preorder. https://www.amazon.com/TAMASHII-NATIONS-Macross-Phoenix-Hi-Metal/dp/B0BX2L8X9G
  7. VE-1 or a VT-1 would be nice to see. I've recently succumbed to HMR as a line, but as much as I've found things to enjoy about them, I found my preference for larger scales renewed. A recent 1/60 scale acquisition slaked that thirst more than HMR, but I would still prefer more early-era 1/48 Macross valks. So, if Bandai wants to milk the mold for another VF-1A/J/S variant anytime soon, I'd still be on board.
  8. Damaged box, but $3 for the world's smallest transformable Thrust. Not bad. He was my favorite seeker.

There's a local store with it, but at a higher price than some online prices. I don't know if I'd succumb if I went there...but I have been meaning to go to that store...
  10. I'd take them with me if I could. Heaven has to allow for Valkyries. I mean...c'mon, they take you to Valhalla after all... 😆 Other than that, you wouldn't pass them on to your kids? (If one has them) As for me, with a few exceptions that appeal to me aesthetically, I'm not a completest. I skew to VF-1 era designs and STILL can't honestly afford the hobby.
  11. I recently opined that I'd love a VF-1D head that I could pop on a camo Yammie VF-1A (to recreate old model kit boxart). Yeah, it would be Frankensteinian without the tandem cockpit, but I'd take that road until a camo VF-1D ever happened (never, I'd assume). It's just one of those things that always made me wish the designs were more modular overall to allow for that. I still would want missiles for my DX AF as the ports are there, and maybe a strike kit to paint up (as someone has previously) to match. May not be canon, but I like to take advantage of all the options designed-in even if they are carry-overs from other releases and not really meant to be used.
  12. Yeah, the reasons are covered, but let me commiserate with the OP. I too am not new to Macross, and, stupidly, did not strike when the iron was hot (aka when there were clearances of Yammies and lower-priced DX and Arcadia POs). Now I long for lower-priced used sales of the same damned things from eBayers who don't know/care what they are selling or battered-box grab-it-fast-or-lose it Mandarake posts due to a budget that would have had nabbed me these things new just a few years ago. No, I do not recommend collecting now. It is not enjoyable when one has missed so much. Still, I am already cursed with the bug.
  13. I've heard of them before, but never ordered from them. EDIT: Seeing this on the page now: Disclaimer: Requires $15 non-refundable deposit Not sure that was there when I first saw it.
  14. One more... eKnight Media Subtotal $133.50 Shipping & Handling (United States Postal Service (USPS) - Retail Ground) $0.00 $133.50 https://www.eknightmedia.com/macross-zero-shin-kudo-vf-0d-phoenix-hi-metal-r-action-figure-by-bandai-tamashii-nations.html
  15. The photo you posted of the Max 0S certainly is. I had assumed there would be one for the event before you posted that. I just wonder if that's solely for the event, and whether the box underneath is designed to be salable alone (UPC, etc).
  16. Ah, because you've made previous purchases accruing that. I was looking now and just see $5 being earned on the 0D for a future purchase if this is a first buy with TCP or if you just have no rewards left. As for Galactic, how much faith should anyone put in their fulfilling any backorders placed now?
  17. I've only the Angel Bird and VF-1D for DX. Yep, don't look at me. I hang my head in shame. But I sure as hell would have room for more, not to where I would buy 4 more AB's for a squadron, but a standard VF-1A/J/S, a VE-1, VT-1...well, guess I could do that AB squadron...

  19. Well, my pinup version of the VF-1J is the "Axoid" version on the Revell box. Blood red, with a smooth black head. Looks menacing. More than he would with the "goggle". I guess that's why it stuck with me. Sadly, I actually have none to swap, and would sooner want a version which I could swap onto a HMR or DX these days.
  20. I'm curious what prompted it. Even if not screen-accurate I kinda like it, and even wish it was a head option for DX or HMR. (Maybe a 3D print possibility?)
  21. For those who have this kit, I was first exposed to it in the USA as distributed by Revell, and noticed the head has no "rim" to the visor; it's one smooth surface to the "lens". My question: Is that 1J head design unique to this mold?
  22. Well, the BB reissue of Jetwing Prime was also a PO, and ended up in many Target stores afterward. Motormaster wasn't as in stores, but ended up in some stores too. So, I think there's definitely a chance of getting Jazz in-store if you miss a Target PO. I just knew another Guardian repaint was coming. As for Towline, I'm starting to get sick of the repaints being so close together. He's one of like three or four variants of the same mold out at one time. At least with Skids, his variants were spread out more; even the MP versions.
